Nice to see more red
in the crowd shots than blue. Listening to Gambo, Ash, Doug and Wolf this week you would have thought it was going to be 75% blue.

I give the local fans
a lot more credit than they will ever find in the local sports media scene, no matter the sport.

this town shows up
if the team is winning. if they aren’t winning, they won’t. as simple and as sad as that.

I was at the last weekend
series for the DBacks. From the enthusiasm of the crowd, you’d never have known we were out of it. Sure, we are always going to have a large number of bandwagon fans, but I think there is a solid base for both the Cards and Dbacks. Just an observation

I've been a season-ticket holder
for the D’backs for four years and I can tell you that was an aberration. There was no one at the Reds series in the 2nd to last weekend series. Dbacks are building a base, but they aren’t there yet.

Do you
post on the Snakepit site?

There has to be some
sort of rule where that wasn’t really a fumble. Or did Dallas already use all of those up?
I love the smell of commerce in the morning
See an earlier comment
was used up already

Just checked out
bloggingtheboys.com . After reading their comments, it just makes me hate them that much more.

Boink!
The best sound there is as long as it involves a failed attempt by the ’boys

Halftime adjustments needed
Whiz and Haley better figure out a way to get the offence in gear in the second half.
Defense looks really good though...
…sure seems like the ‘boys have the refs in their pocket. We can’t control that though. Just gotta keep doing what we’re doing and eventually Romo will fully break. He always does.

Refs
You are right about the refs – dunno how they reversed that Fitz TD.
At least they couldn’t the second time.
AZ is
just playing a much better and complete game. There is no reason the score should be 14-14.

Wow Breaston is having a great game again!
Lets keep it up Steve in the 4th!
No more mistakes and we win!!!
Does anyone even remember what we win in the ROTB Fantasy?

Awesome game guys
I root for two teams: The Texans and Anyone who plays the Cowyboys.
I’m enjoying the show that Warner and Co. is putting on.

wow...
I imagine it would have been a riot if they called that a fumble yet earlier had that “tuck rule”…
Go Colts!

I love the positive
attitude of the non-Cards fans here while CardsIrish and I are reservedly hopeful. The life of a Cards fan.

Romo needs to go away
he has been coddled by the refs all game. I hate that lil POS.
I love the smell of commerce in the morning
but it gave the boys an extra 5 yards
and now they are within Folk’s range. C’mon now.

they really should
just give the W to the Cowboys. Was that coin double-sided?
I love the smell of commerce in the morning
They're doing
everything humanly possible to do just that

2 fumbles calls and that 5yard penalty
NFL seems as bad as boxing for corrupt officials

Your Defense needs to send a message
Sorry to see the tide turn… I have faith though. Defense needs to remain stout.

the score didn't show it
but the cardinals defense was absolutely amazing this week.
Matt Kemp for president.
Adrian Wilson for vice.
HALLELUJA
Damn that was nailbiting untill the end!
Best game I'd ever "seen"
I got off the airplane in Philly just to see JJ running into the endzone for the start of the game. Our flight to Providence was in terminal F which is pretty oldschool for an airport (read: no TVs with the game on). I checked the score at the packed bar (mostly Niner/Eagles on the TVs) and it was 7-0 still, early in the second quarter. My wife and got on the plane and arrived in Providence to catch in a coffee bar Dallas’ punt in OT. I was whooping, screaming, and making a general scene that nearly got security called. Fortunately, I was wearing my Fitzgerald jersey so it wasn’t too much of a stretch for people to figure out why I was reacting the way I was. I didn’t know about the blown lead until much later that night on ESPN Sportcenter around 1AM local time. Wow. What a game.
It’s great to see some new faces on the live game thread. Thanks Red Reign for making them feel at home. Hopefully we’ll get some return visitors for the Panthers game in two weeks. This will be a nice BYE week!
We all leave footprints in the sands of time, just watch out for the discarded fish hooks!
I rushe home to catch the 4th quarter on the radio
only to find my wife surfing the web. Sucks huh. Well I just happen to go in my room sulking and checked the tube to see who was on and lo and behold, the Cards/cowgirls were playing. Why would they be on tv in florida? Don’t know but you gotta love flex scheduling and whoever else was responsible for the game of the week (imo) to be on. Great to see big Breasesess get his 1st career receiving TD as well. Go cards.
