Arizona Cardinals News: Reviewing Ken Whisenhunt's Monday Press Conference
The Arizona Cardinals win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday was a memorable victory for several reasons. The game was electric from the opening kickoff to the final failed-punt (well failed punt if you're a Cowboys' fan) and there were plenty of talking points coming out of the wild game. Ken Whisenhunt had plenty to say in his Monday presser about all things Cardinals vs. Cowboys and you can check out a couple of highlights right here at ROTB:
Concerning the officials and controversial calls: Controversial Calls
Electing to Defer for the first time after winning the coin toss: Deferring
How the team moves on from this win to the next game and beyond: Moving on
The effect of home field advantage and great crowds: Fan excitement

Whisenhunt was just on Rome today, too
10:30 MST. Talked about how sick to his stomache he felt after trying to ice Folk, and how lucky he was for the D & ST to bail him out in OT.
He also mentioned how it will take a few more road wins to turn the Card’s culture around this year.

blocked FG
that’s pretty interesting b/c I read in several different places, and after rewatching agreed with, that it looked like some of the Cowboys blockers let up once they heard the whistle. It does look like they gave very little effort to stop the guy off the edge, but then again they didn’t do much to stop Morey or Beisel on the punt either.
