Congratulations AJ BirdWatcher, whose 13-1 mark was the best in Week 10, a week that had everyone (well, almost everyone) picking at a high level of accuracy. The entire standings have had a bit of a shake up with those with fewer weeks picked having the biggest jumps. Andrew602 is six percent ahead of the rest of the pack with seven weeks to go. The bye section of the NFL schedule is over, so we'll be picking sixteen games a week from here on out.

And then he...
HAWK – Please change my Houston pick to Baltimore Just noticed Shaub wasn’t playing. Sage won’t have as good a game this time with a limited run game facing Baltimore.

Niners are going to wear Colts uniforms to confuse the Rams and delude their fans further. It's the York way.

Atlanta (Riding their wave another week, especially at home; could be seeing them in the playoffs…)
New Orleans (KC could pull this off, this is a hard one to call)
NYGiants (Still rolling)
Tampa Bay (Could be seeing Tampa in the playoffs)
Miami (No Culpepper to inspire the Raiders this year)
Carolina (This will look like a baby boy’s baby shower with all the powder blue on the field)
Philly (Doubt the Bengals are going to do much more this year)
Green Bay (Hoping the Packers can beat on the Bears and make the #3 playoff seed firmly in the Cards’ control)
Indianapolis (Colts seem to have found their legs finally)
San Fran (Shaun Hill should do well)
Seattle (Last time the Cards won in Seattle was Seattle’s first regular season game in the new stadium)
Tennessee (They’ll lose eventually but not to Oakland East)
Pittsburgh (Two loses at home in a row? Don’t think so)
Washington (Even with Romo back I don’t think Oakland South will pull this off)
Buffalo (Bills need to staunch the bleeding before they’re out of playoff consideration)

NE – patriots at home. favre stinks.
ATL – starting to believe in the falcons. ryan is maturing well.
PHI – westbrook and the eagles will bounce back after a tough loss.
GB – no kyle orton again. no chance.
IND – matt schaub or not, indy’s looking decent lately.
KC – upset special. thigpen is heating up, and saints are missing mackenzie.
MIA – raiders are awful and the wildcat formation is exciting to watch.
NYG – battle of both my defenses in fantasy. giants squake one out.
TB – minnesota’s been playing better but tampa is quietly 6-3.
CAR – delhomme will torch the junior varsity-like secondary of the lions.
SF – san fran looked okay on MNF, plus they’re at home.
ARI – hasselbeck back, but cards angry about last minute victory on primetime tv.
PIT – steelers by 4.
TEN – titans stay unbeaten with their two headed monster in the backfield.
WAS – redskins at home, possibly with out portis. i think clinton will end up playing, since this is a rivalry game.
BUF – edwards leads the bills to their first win in awhile.
Dodgers - 2008 NL West Champions
Tim Hightower for ROY.

gotta have a good week
NE – tough game but still don’t like the Jets and it’s in Foxboro
ATL – are they really about to be 7-3?
CAR – We really need them to lose but it won’t happen this week
PHI – cincy still stinks and Philly is starting to roll
NO – both teams spiraling down but NO can still score some points
NYG – should be a good, defensive game but I’ll take Eli over Flacco
MIN – I have no idea why but I’m going with my gut
MIA – geez, the Raiders seem to get more bizarre every day, who’s calling plays now?
GB – almost a ‘must win’ for the Packers who can’t fall three back of da Bears
IND – still no Schaub means no win for the Texans
SF – keep your pants on Mike, you’ll get your first win this week
ARI – what can I say, I’m 6-3 picking the Cardinals so I’ll stick with them
TEN – JAC ain’t all that great and TEN is still rolling
PIT – tough game but I bet Ben R bounces back this week in a big way
DAL – (assuming Portis doesn’t play, if he does I’ll change to WAS before kickoff)
BUF – tough game b/c both teams desperately need a win but I guess I’ll go w/ the home team

am i too young for altzeimer's?
i’m only 32 and this is the second week i couldn’t remember who i picked. i was on nfl.com rooting for the Pats to pull it out. anyway who’s playing again, the jets and pats? who should i pick? hmmmmm. i pick on emotion, not on any system. thats why i always change my mind so frequently. maybe i should write them down from now on.

Thursday Night
NE – Wet turf will probably make this interesting and limit Favre’s deep game. Cassel/Welker short pass game will make the difference.

ATL – Playing good at home
NO – Thigpen can’t do enough at home
NYG – Low scoring game
TB – another low one
CAR – Blowout win
PHI – needs the win

SF – Singletary keeps this sqad improving
AZ – Poor secondary not enough for WFQB (my favorite new radio station)
JAX – upset of the week
PIT – SD continues its mediocrity
WAS – Good game for Betts
BUF – trying to salvage their playoff hopes

Yes I am a wuss - should have gone with Jets.
ATL – Matt Ryan is Irish right?
CAR – Big Cat versus Big Cat my money is on the Panther
PHI – Ryan Fitzpatrick is Irish too right? Maybe I’ll go with him next week.
NO – Drew Brees better have another Fantasy Stud week though
NYG – Can Ravens shut down Jacobs – will be interesting
TB – Both teams are inconsistent so I’ll go with the home team
MIA – Wildcat all over the sorry Raiders
CHI – I liked the way the Bears D stepped up last week
IND – I haven’t picked one of their games right so Texans will probably win
SF – 9ers looked better Monday night – not convinced by the QB though
ARI – Multi TD day for Breaston – Go Cards
TEN – Titans seem to know how to win
PIT – Too much team for the sorry Chargers
WAS – Cowboys Suck
CLE – Brady Quinn is Irish right?

How the heck is a tie supposed to work? Do we all lose, or is it thrown out?
by bcloirao on Nov 16, 2008 9:49 PM MST reply actions 0 recs
Anyone predict a tie? Didn't think so. Counts as a "wrong" pick for all of us. Stupid Bengals/Eagles....

Not that it will make any difference in the standings
but shouldn’t the game be a push for everybody?
by AJ BirdWatcher on Nov 17, 2008 9:13 AM MST up reply actions 0 recs
Exactly, it makes no difference in standings
Whether I give everyone a “push” or give everyone a “wrong” prediction. Quite simply I don’t want to add another column called “Push” and change the formula to consider every push as “half correct”. A tie is no different than when we all of picked the Redskins and Cowboys to beat the Rams as we were all wrong; for all intents and purposes that’s a “push” for movement in the standings.

Then expect non-stop goading and being the butt of several jokes for weeks, if not forever. :P

If it’s a Cambodian harlot, you’re team you picked counts as a victory.
If it’s a harlot of any other nationality, you’re screwed. Perhaps even literally.
