Help Timmy add some hardware to his trophy case. He's nominated for the rookie of the week and he's up against Chris Johnson, Joe Flacco, Matt Ryan and Matt Forte. Here's what how each fared this week:

Hightower - 109 yards on 22 carries and 1 TD
Johnson - 161 total yards (89 rushing & 72 receiving) and 1TD
Ryan - 17 of 22 for 220 yards and 2 TDs and zero INTs
Flacco - 17 of 29 for 248 yards and 2 TDs and zero INTs
Forte - 126 yards on 22 carries and zero TDs

Do you civic duty and vote for Timmy today.

Had it not been for the big penatly...

Hightower’s stats would have been even better. He won’t get the rookie of the week though because I’m pretty sure not a lot of people tuned in to that game.

Matt Forte should get rookie of the year award this year too, he’s been a workhorse.

Yea Timmy should have about at least 125 (thanks alot Dunce)

My ROY vote would go to Chris Johnson right now. He’s been amazing. He’s on pace for over 1,700 total yards and 12 TDs.

I was going to say him too but..

I like what Forte has done. For a rookie to change a team around that much is really awesome. Chris Johnson has been incredible thus far, but I think the Titans wouldn’t be hurt as bad without CJ as the Bears without Forte.

very true

You are right that they’re not in the same situation. CJ has had help b/c he’s not ‘the guy,’ but Forte is all they have in the running game.

not so fast...

Timmy will get some votes on the basis that he wasn’t a high draft pick and that he just supplanted the great Edge for the starting job. That has made some major headlines and he will get some unexpected notoriaty. I don’t know if the results are tallied, but I would expect Timmy to come in the top 2. IMO.
