Arizona Cardinals News: Pro Bowl Rosters Released
The Arizona Cardinals will be well represented in Hawaii this season considering that Kurt Warner, Anquan Boldin, Larry Fitzgerald and Adrian Wilson were all selected to be starters in the Pro Bowl for the NFC squad. Sean Morey was also selected as the special teams players, which is technically a starter since only one player is selected.
For Kurt, it's his fourth selection and first since 2001 with the Rams. This will be Boldin's third trip and first since 2006. Fitzgerald is heading to his third Pro Bowl and second consecutive. This is A-dub's second trip to Hawaii with his first selection in 2006. This will be Morey's first trip to Hawaii.
Karlos Dansby and Darnell Dockett were selected as alternates, which means that they'll probably get selected as guys decide they don't want to make the trip. Five Cardinal Pro Bowlers are the most since 1977 and the first time the franchise has had more than two since 1996.

yea I'll own up to that, I wanted them to cut him
Truth be told though, he made the squad b/c of one play, but that was arguably the biggest play of the entire season so I’ll give the man his due. Congrats to Mr. Morey and all the Cardinals who made it.

He has really fallen down the depth chart!
Which is a good thing – the emergence of Breaston, Urban and even Limpy Doucett if he ever gets on the field have allowed Morey to do what he is best at ST.

Morey
All of those selected are deserving, but I am happiest for Sean Morey. 8 seasons on 4 different teams. Way to finally get recognized for your standout play on an underachieving special teams squad.

Humble as hell, too...
…I’m sure his 2 Super Bowl rings make him feel all warm and fuzzy though.

Morey, good stuff man! Class act too...
When my girl and I went to Flag for training camp, Gina was waiting to use the outhouse john and Morey accidentally cut her off because he was late for practice. Realizing what he had done he apologized incessantly. I thought that was a pretty gentlemanly thing to do considering the sense of entitlement most pro athletes have.
Who would win in a fight, Whisenhunt or a Hurricane?
Hold on, hold on, what if the Hurricanes name was Whisenhunt?

As a side note Dockett and Dansby were named as alternates. Remember last year Dockett was and he was able to play so fingers crossed hopefully they may play. Also this is the most Cards picked in AZ history and most in Cards history since 1977.

alternates
Sando posted that Dansby is the second alternate, first alternate Julian Peterson. He’d have to have two of the following pull out for him to make the trip: DeMarcus Ware, Lance Briggs, Derrick Brooks and Peterson.
Dockett is the third alternate behind Tommie Harris and Fred Robbins. He’d have to have three of the following drop out: Jay Ratliff, Kevin and Pat Williams, Harris and Robbins.
They both seem like long shots…..

Question is: this many Cardinals Pro-Bowlers enough to get you to watch the game?

Hell no for me
I haven’t watched a Pro Bowl in a long time. I can’t stand the game itself.

Vanilla Pro-Bowl Defense
That alone should be good for two TDs apiece for Fitz and Boldin from Warner. I’ll TiVo the game at least.
