Arizona Cardinal of the Week: Week 15
Well folks another game is in the books and as usual, we have some nominees for Arizona Cardinal of the week. Even the worst defeats feature a few bright spots. This week there are some new faces that are up for the award. Maybe an offensive player might win. Unfortunately, the lack of offense in the game may keep a player from actually winning it. As always, if you feel someone should be nominated, drop a comment with who and why.

Hood
Not really a great game aside from the fumble recovery, and DRC should get most of the credit on that play anyway. I guess we’re scraping the bottom of the barrel this week.

yea Hood had terrible game outside of a fumble recovery
the vikes were openly picking on him and he was the guy in coverage on three of the four TJ touchdown passes.

Hoods play felt like the Giants vs Greenbay playoff game..
Did you watch last year when Plexico Burress was openly flaunting his ability over Al Harris last year. GB didn’t give him any help because he’s a pro bowler and Plexico kept making play after play as they exploited that weakness.
Wow, history repeats itself.

DRC
DRC blocked the kick and had at least one pass break up that I remember. They weren’t throwing his way much either. So he definitely deserves to be in front of Hood who out ran a punter!

Got DRC added. He was even listed in the Box Score though so blocked punt is the only stat I got.

Gotta go with Urban
For a “marginal” receiver when he first was added to the roster (Practice Squad originally if memory serves me) he’s proven to be a consistent option. Considering how the Vikes shut down Fitz & Q, it another receiver had to step up. Besides, his jukes and breaking tackles for a 50 yard TD on a short pass is totally unexpected.

he's a very good #4 WR
He’s almost putting up BJ numbers from the #4 spot. Anyone know his contract status?
