Vikings William's to Play?
Apparently the the Vikings Pat and Kevin Williams have received a temporary restraining order last night, blocking the 4 game suspension by the NFL. This should be pretty interesting down the stretch if they do end up playing. The NFL has stated that they will appeal the restraining order. There is a chance they may play Sunday against the Lions.

How does that work?
So the restraining order stops the 4 game suspension from taking place? Is this another problem or a resolution to the initial problem?
this is going to get ugly
I have no idea who’s going to win this power struggle but Goodell doesn’t seem like the kind of guy who just backs down. If anyone is thirsting for the latest on the story, check out our Vikings blog. They’re covering it wall to wall.
Suspension
Please fully research next time, the Williams wall is being represented by one lawyer and he is filing an appeal or injunction whatever its called and they are going to court today (Dec 5th) to see if they can play. The judge said in a press conference that he will hear the case when they are ready for me to hear it and I will give them ample time to get their cases ready because this is the most difficult case i have ever heard. It sounds to me like he will give them the appeal!
What difference does that make? The overall point is, they got a restraining order against the suspension to try to play this Sunday vs the Detroit Lions.
yea i don't get it either
How contradictory is it to say “please fully research next time” and then immediately follow it up with “appeal or injunction whatever?”
I guess he didn’t feel the need to do his own research before making a comment.
