Ode to Denny Green...

After a full day of trying to wrap my head around being able to put Arizona Cardinals and champion in the same sentence, I started to wonder how some of our previous head coaches would have handled winning the division. Denny was the only guy I could come up with a funny line about but I bet there's a Buddy Ryan joke out there some where.

We are who we thought we were!!

If you want to crown our @ss, then crown it!!

But we are who we thought we were, that why we won the damn division!!

Now that I think about it, how lucky are we that the Cardinals finally have a really good head coach? Who would've thought that Whiz would lead us to our first consecutive non-losing seasons since '83-84 and he could end up with more wins in his first two years than any coach in Cardinals history?

Off to a good start

Time will tell if Whis can be considered a “really good head coach”. I am a fan at this point, and I like his attitude and his willing to adjust his plan to fit the players on the field. I also like his demeanor when addressing the media, and his willingness to place the best available players on the field.

Whiz has done so much for the Cards and its only going to improve. Look how fast the penalty situation got resolved. Only 9 penalties in the last 3 games.
