Boldin is Undecided About Cardinals Camp
In what is probably the first of countless stories on whether or not Anquan Boldin will attend training camp, the Cardinals official site takes a first stab at it. They reached him via text message and his response was that "he honestly didn't know at this point." His absence would cost him $15,000 a day.
If his agent was anyone other than Drew Rosenhaus I might go as far to say, that I guarantee he'll be at camp. With Rosenhaus though you just never know. He's currently got more than a handful of players who are unhappy with their contracts including the Cardinals' very own Darnell Dockett (who could not be reached).

Cant say I blame “Q” a bit for holding out. For some reason he has had to play second fiddle to Fitz, even though he was in AZ before and has just as good numbers. He is also the heart and soul of the cards! Its not his fault the Cards don’t know how to manage a salary cap or draft! IMO, he should be making as much if not more.
Bidwell if your reading, pay the man… Of course you might have to let Leinart go but that wouldn’t be a big loss! LOL
Q
I can’t say that I disagree with you on Q’s importance to the team but the only reason that I think he should have some patience with the team is because (1) he still has three years left on his contract (2) there are other players that deserve/need a contract before him, namely Dansby and (3) the team has made it clear that they want to get him a new contract. Unless Dansby agrees to a long term contract thus lowering his $7 million cap figure, the team can’t afford to give Q more money.
He’ll get his money, but he’ll have to wait his turn in line.
In general I loath holdouts! But in this case I would say it is worthy and necessary. Dansby has done less that Q to warrant that kinda money. Like I said, its not Q’s fault that the cards can’t manage a salary cap! Just because the cards have made it clear doesn’t mean he should wait for them to get around to him!
How does a team that has been bad for decades have salary cap problems?! I’m a Packer fan, and the Packers were 13-3 and even w/ Favre at QB they would still be 24M under the cap! Nobody in the Cards front office has the stones to make the difficult dicision, which in this case would have been to trade Fitzgerald. Now they will likely end up trading Q, probably not this year, but next for sure.
trading Q
I’d be very surprised shocked if he was traded. He’ll get his new deal next off season and all will be right with the world.
