Rosenhaus Updates the Anquan Boldin & Arizona Cardinals Situation

Call me crazy but I actually heard some encouraging news in what Drew Rosenhaus had to say. Not only did he say that he hopes that he hopes that the "situation that will work itself out in the very near future" but also that the "Cardinals have many options." He also mentions that "they can work with Anquan."

First of all, if Boldin isn't demanding a trade (the idea of a trade was never mentioned by Rosenhaus) and if they hope that the situation will work itself out quickly, that can only mean one thing: the idea of an extension is still on the table. He certainly didn't sound like Boldin was a guy who's completely done with the Cardinals. You be the judge though, did you get the same feeling?

This is the last I'll say about it...

It sounds like Q overstated his position because he was angry, however, it seems like his agent (who IMO is a bastard agent who should keep more matters private, but instead uses public media and hold outs to try to force teams into paying his clients, and ultimately him, more money) has talked some sense into him and they are doing some damage control without losing too much of an edge to their voice. His agent is playing it smart, but unfortunately, his client isn’t putting up big plays right now to make all of the noise Drew is making worth it, lol.

I’m done, I can’t wait for the Saints game, this is my first year as a season ticket holder, so I’ll be in the boonies! Section 408 anyone? Cheers!
