Arizona Cardinals on the Verge of Signing Brandon Moore

The fight for an inside linebacker job could become even tougher tommorrow when the Cardinals finalize the signing of former 49er Brandon Moore. Moore was recently cut by the 49ers in order to make room for Takeo Spikes.

We'll cover the signing in depth tommorrow when it's actually official but keep in mind that someone will have to be cut to make room for Moore. Adding another linebacker to an already stacked group could be bad news for a guy like David Holloway. A dark horse cut candidate could be Monty Beisel who's yet to practice as he recovers from back surgery. Anyone care to take some guesses on the guy who's cut loose?

Of him??? Is he a solid pickup or what? I really liked they way Highsmith played and I hope he doesn’t get bumped, but I don’t see that happening.

You knowone thing I was really surprised with at camp was how big Hayes gut was. He looked like one of the hoggies or something. They need to get him on whatever Haggan’s is doing as long as it’s legal:-)

Never heard of him either

He just sounds like a solid backup player, probably nothing more. Probably better than Matt Stewart though and should give the Cards an edge in week one against his former team.
