I'll be there!
There won’t be any need for an extension this time!

Here we go - the stadium is going to be rocking.
Roof will be closed and the defence is going to be flying around!

Rematch of '47-'48 Championship Games
I love the historical parallels. Game is not in Chicago or Philly, so I like our chances in the dome. Think they’ll have to extend the deadline on ticket sales? Think the roof will be closed? Ooooooh boy!!
Congratulations Eagles. I love to see the sixth seed knock off the top dog, especially a SB defending champion.

Eagles are a hot team
Though the Giants kept them in check for a bit today. Should be an exciting game for followers of each game and for all NFL fans in general.
I did notice there’s a lot of “hate” for the Cardinals out in SBNation. Perusing some of the Game Threads of other teams I was surprised about the general negativity. What have the Cardinals done to earn that, especially for followers of teams outside the NFC East or West? I guess the Cards have been the ugly facial mole of the NFL for so long it’s easier to hate than to root for the underdog.

yeah I see that a lot too.
mainly from Niner fans and Seahawk fans. Theyre just bitter. But really why hate?

I'm okay with the Division haters, we'd be hating on anybody from NFC West, but...
For anyone who isn’t in our division or not from ATL or Carolina I say quit your yapping and hop on the underdog train!

They are just bitter
at their own inadequacies. It happens every year for the underdog team. They just hate us cuz they ain’t us :)

I agree with the fans of the NFL comment...
I didn’t know who to root for with the Bucs out, but Cards making history? Hells yeah!

It seems like everyone on the Cowboys blog
has become a Cards fan for the next three weeks

Hell has truly frozen over then
What, are the Cards the Cowboys’ little brother they love to pick on and beat into the ground in all things competitive? But when when “lil’ bro” outshines “big bro” he’s rooting for him?
Appreciate the positive vibes regardless. America loves an underdog, right?

This is absolutely stupid
I have been trying to get thru to ticketmaster for tickets for an hour and its busy. Lower level seats are already $500 a piece on ebay. Two of my best friends are flying out from Philly. I’m pissed.

Booooo! Keep the Eagles' fans out of the UoP!
At least the ones from PA. ;-) There’s a few Eagles fans in the Valley if memory serves me (based solely on observed team decals on vehicles the two times I drove down for a Cards game). Cowboys, Steelers, Broncos, Niners, then Eagles. Keep UoP cardinal red fans!

There are Philly fans
and there are 700 level fans. My friends are of the Philly variety and went to ASU with me. Douchebags but not dooshbags if that makes sense.

I was considering driving out for the game
from LA, but after looking at ticket prices, I don’t see it happening.

I hear ya Red Reign, I've found a few good 4 packs on ebay but they're still pricey $250 each seat
I’m just lucky that I have my two tickets, I wanted to get two more today but ticketmaster was being ridiculous and ebay.
I’m going to call my account manager tomorrow and see if he has any spares hidden away. Maybe I’ll get lucky. How many are you looking for just in case?
by CardsFan08 on Jan 11, 2009 6:06 PM MST up reply actions 0 recs
At this point, just two.
I was hoping for more, but I just got thru to ticketmaster to see they are sold out. Good for them and all, but bad for me. And I have a feeling the majority went to ticket brokers.
What is the face value of your seats and where are they? I am willing to do the ebay route, but don’t want to be gouged on the mark-up.

Hey guys. Long Time No Post
I lucked out and bought 6 extra playoff tix back when nobody thought we would even beat Atlanta. I may have 1 or 2 extra nosebleeds, and if friends don’t get back with me soon this week I will sell them to ROTB faithful for face value ($140)

I'm in section 408 seats 7-8 face value $140
I have a great account manager named Randy who always happens to find me seats. He hooked me up for the Seahawks game to sit in 207. Very nice.
I’ll email you if he comes up with 2-4 tickets. All of the face value’s for these games are doubled that of the regular game price.

Hey Red Reign, did you find tickets?
If not send me an email my account manager was able to get me three for my friends, but there are still some left in the 138-144 lower south side end zone around $145 each. I’d pick them up for you but there is a limit of four per person. If you know anyone who is a season ticket holder they can call their account manager and request seats in that section. He’s says there are still a few left and I just spoke with him a few minutes ago.

Congrats fellas
Should be an exciting game. The game no one expected. Both teams got no respect going into the postseason. Now look at us.

Seriously
and you understand no matter who makes it to the SB, they will all pick the Steelers or Ravens.

Im already hearing it. I live in Ravens country and people are saying the NFC is a joke.
