CardsFan and Falcons Fan published in Glendale Paper

Hello fellow ROTBers,

Tuesday of last week I was contacted by an Arizona Republic reporter, Rebekah Sanders, to list a few reasons why I thought our team would win. She found my post on ROTB and I'm sure probably contacted some of you as well.

Just by shear luck I was able to get a half way decent list together and send it in before her deadline, and by even shearer luck I was selected to represent our loyal Red Sea.

Here is the article. It's small and represented all of the real elements that made the game what it was. My favorite part is the "laser guided rocket arm" comment which I stole from Peyton Manning's commercial. I love that comment.

I predicted the final score would be 34-24 Cards win. I was pretty darn close.

I'm saying 33-27 this week, Cards win again!

Thought she was going to use my blurb I had sent her...

…considering we had exchanged about four e-mails in the process of getting what she needed ready. Then she received my “headshot” and decided she didn’t want to use my predictions. Are you supposed to have clothes on for a headshot? ;-)

I just got lucky

Everyone who posts on ROTB always has great opinions and a different insight into the different aspects of Cardinals football. I thought she’d have gone with a listing from you or one of the other main contributors.

I just got lucky, and that five spot that I sent her way must have helped!
