A Grimm situation...

Where will Russ Grimm end up next year? Why is he interviewing right now with the Jets when it seems like there are bigger fish to fry with his current obligation? What are some possible replacements for him next year considering he'll probably be leaving

That is bad to be interviewing while prepping for a playoff game. Maybe he realizes your playoff run is about to end? Har har!!!

Granted, Cardinals assistant coaches are rarely targeted for vacant head coaching jobs but...

…I thought it was standard policy that assistants couldn’t be interviewed until their team was done with the playoffs?

We all leave footprints in the sands of time, just watch out for the discarded fish hooks!

I was kind of pissed hearing about this. If he really is that valuable of a commodity, they’ll still be knocking when we’re done with our season. Why the urgency now?

Do you think he’s gone after this season?

Who would win in a fight, Whisenhunt or a Hurricane?

One of my coworkers is good friends with the Grimm family, they’ve loved Arizona, but they love the east coast even more. I have no problem with that, I have a problem with interviewing while our season is still moving forward.

The amount of distraction is unmeasurable from the outside, but it could have an impact in the locker room and with the other staff this week. Here’s to hoping he keeps his head in the right game.

Grimm is a professional and that's just the nature of the game.

I can still remember Russ meeting with all the other coaches last year and telling them that even though a lot of them were cool with Whiz, out of respect they could only refer to him is Coach Whisenhunt or Coach now that he has become head coach. No more Whiz or any other nicknames he may have had in the past. And if not now then when. This isn’t the first time Russ has interviewd for a head coaching position. Yes as a Cards fan the timing sucks, but these vacancies won’t last long. Anyway, I’m sure the Jets got permission from the Cards before they scheduled the interview.
