Injury Update 1/07/09 - Boldin's Status Uncertain
Nothing good to report so far. Anquan Boldin's status is up in the air after he injured his hamstring on a 71 yard touchdown Saturday against the Atlanta Falcons. He has yet to fully practice this week, and the general consensus is that it will be a game-time decision. ESPN reported today that he remains hopeful but is still uncertain.
"Still tight," said Boldin, who watched practice with his red No. 81 jersey draped over his shoulder. "I'm not sure at this point. I'm just taking it a day at a time, trying to do what I can to get it better.
"I'm just trying to lay off it right now," he added. "Just rest it. Do enough to get me going but not to aggravate it."
Travis LaBoy and Ben Patrick have also been limited in practice and are not certain for Saturday. LaBoy started off the season like we had hoped but hasn't been the same since the Dallas game. All in all the Cardinals are pretty healthy and should be prepared for Saturday's game.

Looking like a heavy dose of Spach at the TE position
Which doesn’t worry me at all! I’d like to see some more 2 TE formations, so get well Pope/Patrick!
We all leave footprints in the sands of time, just watch out for the discarded fish hooks!

I like Pope/Patrick but...
both of these guys are never healthy two weeks consecutive. Both are big guys, and have decent hands for TE’s, but the health status is troubling. Spach has been one of the best pick ups during the season because of his contributions on ST’s and Offense.
Spach has been making great blocks and catches when we need’em. I’m hoping we can get those TE’s in there and continue the run, especially because there is very little footage to gameplan for that involves Arizona and running plays.

Good point! Disguise run plays in throwing formations! All new formations with eligible tackles!
Maybe time to have Keith or Vallejo activated for some different looks.

I like that idea, but it won't happen, at least not this year.
Who would win in a fight, Whisenhunt or a Hurricane?
Hold on, hold on, what if the Hurricanes name was Whisenhunt?

You never know with whiz.
Didnt DRC see a snap on offense on Saturday? I thought I saw him. Keith is a beast. Hopefully we can see him in the lineup soon.

We've seen DB's lining up as Wide out's all year,
that was no surprise. Lining our O-line up as eligible reciever’s won’t happen though, just watch. Maybe some guys from defense like Campell or Dansby or something, but not the big hoggies man. I would like to see it though maybe on a goal line stance though and that’s the only way I ever see it happening.
