What would you give Andy Reid for Vick?
With the trade deadline approaching and the Eagles having no real need for Vick, let's say they put him out there as trade bait. Vick is getting $1.6M ($100,000 per game) for this year with a team option for $5M next year. The huge PITA demonstrations have not occurred and there really doesn't seem to be a huge PR hit to the Eagles in having signed Vick. Vick also appears not to be a very good fit for the Eagles.
Several teams are really struggling and need a spark. Several coaches are on the hot seat. Some teams are performing well, but could use a wildcat.
Pick an NFL team that you are the GM or coach of and explain what you would be willing to give up for Vick and why?

Drop Leinart
When I heard Vick was coming back I was hoping AZ would drop Leinart and sign him to be Warner’s new apprentice. I’m not sure Leinart cares about his spot.

Leinart seems to care about his spot.
He had a good offseason and play well in the preseason. I think he is working hard to be the one to take over when Warner is gone. I don’t think Vick will really ever be the QB he was, which he wasn’t all that great anyways.

Leinart seems like he wants to stay here

I’d say that if he can keep playing like that he should stay here. Being mentored by Kurt seems like it is working with him.

I don't wanna put you down.
But this could be the most retarded thing i’ve ever heard. Matt for Mike, lol, ha, matt has spot on accuracy, vick doesnt. vick can run fast and the cardinals arent built for a scrambling q. vick will never be as good as he once was. matt hasn’t even started yet. have you heard of steve young or more recently aaron rodgers?

The Cards don't have any use for Vick but he could help someone
If I were a GM of a team like Oakland or Buffalo or even STL, I’d at least pick of phone and see if they’re interested in trading him. I wouldn’t give up much b/c I don’t think he’s much of a QB anymore but he’d make games more exciting and what do those teams really have to lose. Basically any team that has putrid QB play should take a look.

The Cowboys should trade Brad Johnson and the dating rights to Jessica Simpson

Vick will be staying put
The Eagles didn’t take the small PR hit that they took to get rid of Vick. Reid is a coach that knows how to develope QB’s (McNabb was a option QB at Syracuse and Kolb is showing signs). Vick went to Pro-bowls on shear talent as he was not taught or was not interested in learning how to play the position in Atlanta.
Ried will coach Vick and Vick will learn. Vick has everything to gain and a whole lot to lose if he doesn’t take to the coaching of Reid and Mornhinweg. Vick has some skill sets (big arm and mobility) that can’t be taught. Vick will remain a Eagle.

If his Accuracy can be improved he would be deadly in the Wildcat.

The Accuracy Issue
Accuracy is something that cannot be taught. Through sheer work ethic and drills is can be improved. I think Vick will do what is necessary to reach his potential. Money is definitely a MOTIVATING factor in this equation.

So if buffalo offered you a 1st round pick you say no?
Vick doesn’t have the time (at his age) or the patience to learn in my opinion. I am willing to bet Reid could get a first round pick for him, but I do agree that most likely no deal gets done.

If the O-Line keeps playing like it has been this season
Maybe he’d be more valuable than we think to our team xD

Nothing.
And I’m not on some moral trip, there simply isn’t much use for him. The only thing he really had going for him was his speed and athleticism, but it’s pretty evident that he simply isn’t the same player he used to be.

Miami could use Vick
He’s built for the wildcat, but might not be as effective as Ronny Brown. Still, I’d say he’s worth a 2nd round pick and maybe some special teamers

I do not think Miami would trade for him.
They drafted Pat White, who has pretty good speed for a QB, to run the wildcat. It would be a waste of a draft pick not only for trading for Vick but also the 2nd round pick they used on Pat White.
