ROTB Survival Pick'em: The Slaughtering Edition...And Week 7 Picks

The title should speak for itself but if you must know, nine of our very own members didn't make the cut over the weekend. That can largely be blamed on the terrible effort by the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Jets. Yours truly felt the wrath of the Raiders upset, and now will find the darkest corner of my closet to go and sob. In other news, that leaves eight survivors on the list. If there was ever a time to join, now would be it. Much of the survivors have used up the "good" teams, and it only gets harder from here on out. Just as a recap, you can still join to the survivor league. The rules are easy - You pick one team each week to win, and you can't pick that same team again. If that team loses or you skip a week, you are eliminated. Whoever builds the longest streak will win Cardinals merchandise. Let's take a look at the damage.

It's funny how similar some of the survivors picks are. It's as if they joined together and picked the same teams. Also, I made the mistake of posting the picks late last week, so therefore, I'll take KDean's word that he didn't have computer access after he checked late Thursday night when the post still wasn't up. He'll remain on the list, and this is the main reason why I'm posting early this week.

I don’t have a problem with kdean being allowed to stick around, but shouldn’t those of us who did pick have our streaks at 6 games now? Small oversight I’m sure
Yeah that had nothing to do with Kdean, I just missed it. My fault.

Am I totally dead or can I start over again with a streak of Zero?
I realize it would be a long shot to pass the streak of the players still left, but can I start again with a streak of zero? I am not opposed to throwing up a hail mary. If the answer is yes to being allowed to start a new streak, do I have all 32 teams to pick from again?

Yeah I'll take suggestions next year for sure.
I can see your reasoning that you could still jump in and gain a longer streak then anyone else, but at this point, a lot of the losers could’ve done that and built up a streak so it would be fair now.

Even though at 2-3 they have a losing record and only one game up on the chiefs, I’m still not going to try to claim this as a “bold” pick.

The pick I had scheduled for this week doesn’t look so hot now that the Cards finally decided to start playing like the team we all know they can be when they’re on. I think the Giants still win the game, but I have too much faith (maybe fan bias thrown in there too) in the Cards pulling one out to pick that game. Ugh.
Gonna have to use my Indianapolis Colts pick sooner than I wanted to, so I’m going with them this week.
It was fun while it lasted.
Although there are easier games to pick, my BOLD pick this week is our very own Cards. Better luck next season right. I have no choice. I’m off from work, its the only night game and I’m off from work. That means I get to watch it. Did I mention I’m off from work?

What? I didn't break it, I was just testing its durability, and then I placed it in the woods becuase it's made out of wood and I just thought he should be with his family.

I never get to watch the Cards live on tv. Every time they are on, I have to work and have to dvr it. Today it was prime time, I was off, the weather was good and we had already won on the east coast earlier this year against the Jags. I couldn’t change pick if I wanted to.
