What do you think will affect the outcome of the Giants-Cardinals game?
So far giants have been proven a major competitor in the NFC conference. I think With a 5-1 record they will be a difficult challenge for Warner and Co. to overcome. With Antonio Pierce possibly injured today there is a better chance for our Rush Offense to succeed. However it mostly depends on if the Giant's D-Line can find the pressure points for Kurt Warner. If the O-Line can get them to keep their distance, then we could most likely get a 300+ yd game.
Also, your predictions for the score would be helpful.

Obviously, with my Homer Goggles, the Cardinals
But this game could go either way. Interesting to note though, Sports Weekly actually has us down to win. They might be the only “experts” to say that this week.

Well, to answer that question,
it’s the same goggles I put on when I started the Cards defense against the Colts over the 49ers against the Rams. That is wearing Homer Goggles. It means an unflinching loyalty to the point of delusion.

Wow. Good thing I didn't have on my goggles that day.
I actually started the 9ers over the Cards D that week. Good call.

That should have been a no-brainer decision I would think.
But then again I started the Giants D over the Cards last week & looked what happened there.

I hope we can win
But the Giants are a good team, they beat us at home last year, and they are gonna be ****** after how the Saints whooped them.

Defense and O Line
Either way it goes, two groups will affect the outcome more than anything else. Can our O line provide decent protection for Warner? Given protection he has shown throughout his career that he can and will pick a defense apart. On the other hand though, when he does not get protection he looks no better than J Russ up in Oakland. No quarterback can perform when he is lying on his back twitching in pain. O line will have to step it up big time.
Now the the second key. Defense. Who have we dominated on D this year besides Seattle???? NO ONE. We might have kept teams with dismal running games to low yards, but given a good quarterback and good recievers, and our secondary is prone to mistakes and giving up big plays.
We have yet to show the week in and week out consistency that in any way merits a vote of confidence.
Break out the beer goggles for Homer….he might need them after this week.
Signed, a cautiously optimistic Cards fan

I
seriously think the Cardinals are going to win this game.
It is hard to sack Manning but we need to get some pressure on him and force him to make some bad throws. If he gets the throws off then the secondary better be ready. They have really stepped up with DRC, Rolle, and Wilson making some great plays recently.
I don’t think the Giants will run much against the Cardinals and they have shut down the running game against previous oppenents. The Cardinals are first against the run so they are doing something right up front.
Last year the game stayed close but then the Cardinals ST allowed way too much. They gave up field position and let too many big kick returns off.
So if Warner can make some great passes, the secondary burns Manning and the special teams show up I see the victory coming to the Cardinals.

Well
I guess this guy was wrong about my prediction of the Cardinals winning against the Giants. They shut down the run, stopped the pass with pressure and interceptions, and did great on special teams. I don’t think this guy will be back here again talking the way he did.

Yeah he was a jackass
He only created the account that day and only posted on our site. I warned him that day and he hasn’t been on since. He’s was probably sobbing in his pillow after the Giants lost.
What? I didn't break it, I was just testing its durability, and then I placed it in the woods becuase it's made out of wood and I just thought he should be with his family.

I see this game going two ways
Either we win a close game, or get killed, similar to the Indy game.

or you kill us
I don’t know too much about the Cards, but apparently the idea I had in my head was much tougher than what I’m reading off you guys! We’ll see, but to me this game is very competitve, and I myself am a big fat Homer as well. Good luck to you, here’s to a good, well officiated and injury-free game. Peace out and hey, win the west, wouldja? I like Singletary and Spags, hate the Seabirds, but you guys oughtta be the class of the West.
You play to win the game!

I personally think one of three things will happen this weekend...
1) We win.
2) We lose.
3) We tie.
But I could be wrong. The game could be postponed.

How come your not a member of Big Blue View?
Did you sign up for this account soley to come to the CARDINALS site and talk trash?
I’m guessing…
A. you’re already banned from the site of your own team
or
B. you had to create a new screen name this week out of embarrassment after posting the same shit
all over the Saints blog last week.

Troll
Just sounds like a 12 yo troll to me…
and gmen if you read this, saying your going to bring in 3rb doesn’t mean you can run the ball….
Frankly it doesn’t matter what RB you throw at the Cards we just shut em down…
Look at the box score of Cards 49ers game, and look at F. Gore’s numbers, or even M. Turners last year in playoffs….Must be some high quality Homer Goggles…

I am going to go ahead and assume,
that your grades in English were never that good. Lack of punctuation, grammatical errors abound and inability to capitalize the beginning of your sentences. Also, all the experts had the Seahags winning against us. Kinda proved them wrong on that one.
