ROTB Survival Pick'em: The Good News, Bad News Edition and Week 8 Picks

Afternoon all, it's time to see how the remaining members of the survival pick'em league did last week. The reason this is the good news, bad news edition should be obvious - everyone survived, but they also used good teams and now the picking only gets harder(not to mention the schedule is brutal). As a side note, something was brought to my attention last week regarding the eliminated members. After the winner of the league is decided(and they get their prize), if there's a good amount of time left in the season we can start up Survival Pick'em League 2. The second league will be for bragging rights, so any feedback on rules or if you're interested would help. Getting back to the current league, let's look at who's left.

Da Bears

DET, Mark it down

With Stafford and C Johnson probally back, they will beat the Rams. With Stafford they were competitive against the Steelers and hung with the Saints till the 4th Q.

If I get through this week I'm home free

So now I lay my faith in the San Diego Chargers, and I have a good feeling about my picks for the rest of the season.

The Chargers, even though they’re playing the Raiders, scare the heck out of me since they’re capable more than any other team of simply not showing up. I’m hoping the fact that they might actually have to win more than 8 games to make the playoffs this year bites em a bit.
