ILB Gerald Hayes, OLB Chike Okeafor, TE Ben Patrick, and WR Sean Morey....
are all inactive for today’s game.
Hayes is out because of his back for the 2nd week in a row.
Morey is out because of a concussion he suffered last week.
Okeafor is also out because of a bad back.
Patrick hurt his knee last week.
Stephen Spach is back from a sprained ankle and should take his starting spot back.
I think
a healthy Boldin is a difference maker. Not having Patrick will hurt, and Hayes and Okeafor being out is not a good thing for our Defense. Hopefully Highsmith, Berry, and Will Davis will finll in admirably.
Okeafor especially...
That really hurts the OLB depth and has been arguably our best pass rusher this season.
Looking forward to a statement game
from the Cards today. We need to win this game to regain some of our confidence at home. I think we need to establish the run game early and often. We do that and we will win this game.

When he gets the chance to play...
he usually plays pretty well. Last week he had 4 targets and he caught all 4 in his first game of the season being active.
I was a big fan of him at LSU.
Surprised a team hasn’t tried to trade for him because he looks like a steal buried on a deep depth chart.
