Seeing how I'm not ready to discuss the tough loss yesterday, I'll get the survival pick'em results and picks out now. The name should say it all. CardstuckinVA took a gamble on the Lions and lost. With that being said, there are now seven survivors remaining. The picks only get harder and there's another slate of tough games to pick this week. Does anyone dare pick the Cardinals at Chicago? It should be interesting. Let's look at who's left.

I'm going Big! - Hou
A week after picking winless Tenessee to finally get one, I’m picking against a team that hasn’t lost at all this year. I’ll take Houston on the Road to beat Indy.
1. If we don’t start getting risky, we’ll have 7 people at the end. There are enough bad teams to pick against and good teams to pick, that this is very possible.
2. CARDstucknVA was bold last week too, therefore he gets a shout out.
3. I’m not actually a cards fan, so losing out on Cards merchandise won’t be the end of the world for me.

2 people eliminated already this week...
and Seattle is losing 14-0 in the 1st quarter in Detroit, so KDean is “sweating” (as much as you can over a Survival Pick’em on a blog). We are only half way through the season, and we had 7 people alive vs 36 eliminated coming in to this week. You were worried about too many people surviving all year, so you went out of your way to make a risky pick? Not smart.
There are 17 weeks, and 32 teams. There is no reason you can’t go all year picking obvious favorites. Even then you have a good chance to be eliminated, ask the people who picked Philly over Oakland, or hevchv this week. The name of the game in survival pick’em is minimizing risk and hoping you don’t get unlucky.
