With A Win On Sunday......

If Arizona wins on Sunday against the Rams a few things will happen!

1. They will be 7-3  The 7-3 record will equal the same mark they had through 10 games last season. Did anyone imagine they would be in this position after all the struggles they had especially early on?? I certainly had my doubts as I'm sure many others did to

2. 5-0 on the road.  When was the last time this happened? You'd have to go back to the mid 70's when they were in St. Louis.  Both in 1974 and 1975 they were both 5-2 away from the nest. This is a far cry from the 2002 to 2008 seasons when they only won nine road games combined.

3. Maintain a two game lead on San Francisco.  This might come into play as the two play later in the season on  December 14th in San Francisco. The NFC West Championship can be won that night.

The Keys For Sucess:

Protect Kurt Warner. Very key for the offensive line to give him enough time to perhaps find maybe the best wide receiving core in the NFL Very important for our emerging running game to potent once again so St. Louis can key in totally on the passing attack.

Hightower and Wells must keep improving. The last two games they have been impressive averaging over 100 yards a game. If this emerging running attack continues it will make an already passing attack even more lethal.

Make St. Louis one dimensional. If the Cardinals jump out to a 21-0, 21-3, 17-0 early it will make St. Louis get out what they want to do with be balanced. This will make them a complete passing team and this will put them in a familiar situation at 1-8 that they have been in all season. A big lead early could devastate St. Louis

Come to play. The Cardinals better not that they can just step out there and expect to win. New Orleans nearly found that out last week. Don’t expect St. Louis to rollover and die out there the Cardinals need to come and play with intensity.

It would be a mistake to go all pass-happy right off the bat

If we can establish the running game, we can keep Jackson off the field more effectively, milking time with our offense. Long drives will be a must.

What? I didn't break it, I was just testing its durability, and then I placed it in the woods becuase it's made out of wood and I just thought he should be with his family.

Cardinals need to give the rock to Wells

St. Louis won’t be able to stop him. That will open up the passing game.

Has anyone thought

It’s not completey inconcievable that the cards go 8-0 on the road.
Likely a good game against the all of a sudden decent titans next week.
And I believe a very vengeful thromping of niners. 49-7 on monday night.

Don't look past Detroit....

…Cards haven’t won in Detroit in forever. Then I was saying the same thing about winning in New Jersey.

We all leave footprints in the sands of time, just watch out for the discarded fish hooks!

+1 Tennessee is looking hot right now

It will be especially interesting if Leinart is at the helm for all four quarters.

Rose Bowl QB rematch anyone?

Hope it doesn't turn out the same.

Matty lost that game. Although that game did elevate Young’s draft status. He could have been ours. OOOHHH! Shutter at that thought.

Life's too short. Be a fan. Orlando Magic, Arizona Cardinals,Tampa Bay Rays and of course "the U"! What a winning combo.

I hope not...

Kurt Warner has never taken a team to a super bowl in which he has not started all 16 regular season games.

Call me superstitious but I hope he play all 16 games.

I thought the Titans game was a lock when goofball Collins was in, now it should be interesting. I still think they go 4-2 the rest of the way. Win the division easily (3 game cushion now) but no chance at catching NO for the bye. Minnesota game will be critical for playoff positioning.

Vince Young just manages the game.

The real threat is Chris Johnson. If we can somehow limit Johnson and make Young try and beat us, I think we should win.

You KNOW Tennessee is just absorbing the film from the Carolina game...

I expect that exact attack, only more involvement from Young. Wouldn’t it be cool if the Cards picked up Monty Beisel to back up Hayes? I think it would, if only to make sure Hayes can rest a little bit during the game so he doesn’t aggrivate that back injury.

They probably will.

Hopefully there’s a different result at the end.

+1 Cards have done a pretty good job of shutting down most running teams . .

With the exception of Carolina. You know they are going to try to force Vince throw to beat them.

I assume one loss is Minnesota, just curious who you attribute our other loss to?
I still think they go 4-2 the rest of the way.

Or is it just an L for one of the other 5, but who knows which?
