Super Bowl Loser Curse
If there's any validity in the "Super Bowl Loser Curse" (which there's not, kind of like the 49ers' playoff hopes), apparently the wrong team won the last Super Bowl. ::sigh::

haha, i have never beleived in the super bowl curse or the madden curse
but was thinking about this same thing earlier in the week (before their loss to the browns). funny how the super bowl champs wont make the playoffs and the loosers will. IF the curse were real I am pretty sure it would mean we will win the super bowl this year.

The “curse” should simply be explained as any team that get’s to the Super Bowl has a hard time returning to the playoffs the following year. So much of playing in January is predicated on being healthy throughout the year and it difficult to be that healthy two seasons in a row. At least that’s my opinion.
Be careful....to a hammer, everything looks like a nail.

Any team has a hard time making it to the playoffs two years in a row.
What? I didn't break it, I was just testing its durability, and then I placed it in the woods becuase it's made out of wood and I just thought he should be with his family.

It is scientifically explainable
The cards should have had an awful year this year. With the superbowl loser’s curse and the madden curse, however someone at EA decided to put two players on the cover of madden 10. When Troy was added to the cover of madden both of our curses were transferred into the steelers.
The universe itself almost collapsed and the time space continuum was about to implode in a parallel dimension, however this all manifested itself into our physical world by the bears, chiefs, raiders, and browns, beating the steelers.

You should write for the Scy-fy channel...
…that explanation was decidedly more entertaining than most of their programming.

That was a beautiful sight on Thursday.
I’m not saying that I believe in these curses, but if they are real the Super Bowl curse and the Madden Curse hit the Steelers harder than I have usually seen teams taking it.

What makes it even better
is how the whole Steelers organization was talking about how it’s a veteran team that has been there (with the ’06 slump) and knew what to do to get through it. FALSE!

Bumped into a proudly attired pair of Steelers fans yesterday at a Providence mall...
…which is remarkable considering the density of Patriots gear. I’m wearing my old-school Cardinals jacket from ’98 and they notice me noticing them and blurt out “Super Bowl” to which I smile and say “Nice defense of it!” which cause both to frown and promptly shut up. My wife elbowed me and we kept walking. I had so much more to say too.
