Larry Fitzgerald MRI Results: Bone Contusion and Knee Sprain

The Arizona Cardinals got some good news when, as they were expecting, when Larry Fitzgerald's MRI results came out today. Bone contusion and knee sprain may not sound promising but the knee is "stable" and there is not any significant damage. The official word out of the team is that he'll be evaluated as the week progresses although Fitz has 'tweeted' several times since last night that he is fine. He expects to practice Wednesday and I'm sure we'll get a better idea of what his game status is after that practice.

Great news!

Larry’s tweets have all been positive and he seems to be in good spirits about it.. Thankfully!

This is indeed great news

However, he and the medical staff should consider sitting him this week given the opponent if he has any discomfort after practice Wednesday. The playing surface is not grass at Ford Field in Detroit. Grass is much more forgiving on the joints and injuries.

that's a pretty good idea

If we need Fitz to beat the Lions then we’ve got bigger problems anyways.

Be careful....to a hammer, everything looks like a nail.

Hats off

to John Lott and Fitz for their off-season conditioning diligence. When he went down I was certain that he tore an ACL and that we were going to have go into the playoffs without him.

Things are already getting better.

Get better soon Larry!

Lifelong Arizona Cardinals/Chicago Bears fan.

No band-wagoner fans allowed, pick a team and stick with em, throughout the good and the bad.
