What to do With Breen Bay

So its pretty much certain we will face the Packers in the first round of the playoffs. Yes I realize there are scenarios we can make it to the number 2 seed but there is about a 2% chance of the happening. Here then is my question: When we play the Packers next week do we even play our most important players? Do we play a very 'vanilla' scheme? You want to win the game for confidence sake but you also dont want to give away your hand. I think with Fitz being a little knicked up maybe he doesnt go out there. Or maybe just for a quarter, same goes for Warner. What about the nagging injury with G Hayes and Chike? Maybe give DRC (ankle/hand) and McFadden (ankle/hamy) the second half off? I think that in this game we give guys like R Johsons, Toler, W Davis, Doucet, and even Ketih, H Johnson, and Reggie Walker a good amount of playing time. After all deep in the playoffs you need a lot of depth. I know one game wont make much of a difference in their skill level. However it might in their confidence as well as instincts. It will also allow for a little rest for other players as well as less impactive injuries. On another note did Will Davis get any playing time yesterday?

I don't show the Packer shit in next weeks game.

I am thinking the Packers will be thinking the same thing.

Just to clarify.

If Minnesota loses out and Philly loses to Dallas, than I say we go ahead and try to win this game. Otherwise it does not make sense to show Green Bay our best stuff.

We should take the same approach as we did in the preseason.

They planned for us some and we showed none of what we wanted to do. But this time it could have real implications as far as the playoffs and everything. Neither team has anything to gain because I highly doubt the Cards will make the 2 seed so why show your plan.

I would go for it to be honest.

Look at how resting people has turned out with the Colts over the past couple of years.

Game Time Decision

The Bears beat the Vikings. The outcome of the Giants – Vikings game will be known at the start of, or early into the Packers game. They’ll know what they’re playing for. Too bad the Cowboys – Eagles game is also a late game. If they have the shot at #2 then Whis is going for it. If not we will likely see a lot of depth getting playing time. I think they want that 11th win pretty badly all the same.
