With the first round pick.........the Cardinals select SS Taylor Mays?

This is completely outrageous. Nfldraftdog.com mock the cardinals to pick USC senior strong safety Taylor Mays with the first round pick. And this is what they have to say about him: A fast, massive (6' 3" 230 lbs) safety that is always looking for the big collision. Not great in coverage, but his size and speed should get him drafted very early. I don’t know. Sounds ridiculous to me. Wilson still has a good 4-5 years left in him.

Clearly a case of TOO much coffee this AM...
We talk about drafting for what seems like forever (“What do you think we can get for Boldin in a trade btw?” AAACK!) in the Spring and thinking about it prematurely riles me up (obviously). Adrian’s potential replacement has been already drafted so talk of additional SS early picks sound ludicrous. Thus the ludicrous reaction.

I dont watch college fooball game but this guy is a lot like a you A-Dub, 6-3, 230 pounds, a good tackler but sucks in coverage, except his speed which is 4.28 (I am not really sure about the 4.28 thing).

He may be like A-Dub but he won't be playing until A-Dub retires.
That will be close to 5 years. Just doesn’t make sense to draft someone that won’t really help us right now.
