Pay the man!

This is why Boldin deserves a new contract. He does so much for this offense, and I hope that we can keep him here so he retires as a Cardinal.

I've always thought we should pay the man if possible

Still probably my favorite Cardinal. Mr. YAC and Mr. 3rd Down. I thought one play that really showed his desire and strength was his long catch and run TD vs the falcons in the playoffs when he blew a hammy to beat the corner or whoever that was that almost got him out of bounds.

I love Boldin

He has been the heart and soul of our offense for many years and I would hate to see him go elsewhere. Having said that, it isn’t a smart business move to give him Fitz money. We only paid Fitz that much money because he was due to make more than $12 Mil due to incentives. He actually gave us a discount! Does Boldin deserve a huge contract? Absolutely! Do I think we should give him one? Nope. I would be okay to extend his contract for 3 extra years, and pay him around 7 Mil a year.

This is what I've been saying.

Best WR tandem in the NFL, and I don’t feel like a couple of mid-round draft picks is worth breaking that up. Larry and Q have a unique chemistry, one sets the tone and the other feeds off of him, and the rest of the team feeds off of them. They are the Identity of this team and are a HUGE part of why the team is where it’s at now. Yes they’ve shown they can win games without Q, but the intesity of the offense kind of drops off a bit. And I much prefer teams game planning to stop 11 and 81 rather than just 11.

So pay the man! PLEASE!!! And while your at it, start reworking Dockett’s contract after the season as well. Pay the man! PLEASE!!! Take action before they get picked up by Seattle, St. Louis, and San Francisco!
