PrintI have brought the idea up to CG and personally would love to rock some Revenge of the Birds gear around Phoenix and at a game or two next year. It would be great advertising for the site and is something we could show homage for considering we have all helped ROTB become great. So here is my offer, I have a guy who did some shirts for a couple teams of mine who could probably hook them up if we had the design for about 12-15 dollars apiece. Would anyone else be interested in purchasing these? I also fully plan on attending Summer Camp in Flag and would like to rock the gear up there. With all the sports media swarming, it couldn’t hurt traffic. If this is totally lame just disregard but I think it would be pretty cool to add to the collection of Cards gear. Obviously we would have a vote on what the final product would look like and maybe even have everyone who is interested submit a concept and pick the best one.

Update: We have talked to the networks 'higher-ups' and it is ok with SBNation. We just can't use the Arizona Cardinals logo. Like Hawk suggested, www.cafepress.com is very useful and is free. We can create custom items for sale and make money off of them for the site. They also provide the shopping page for RotB. Of course the money would go towards giveaways and prizes. So here's the deal. I don't want to come up with the design on my own. So this post will be used as a thread for ideas, pics, or any other suggestions. If you have any questions email me, Hawk or CG. (Boog I know you have a friend who can do it so if you think that it would be better, let me know.)

I was working on the RotB standard logo to upload to CafePress and stumbled upon a limitation on my end: I'm software disadvantaged for graphics. The problem is the RotB logo is small and upon enlargement turns into a pixelated POS. Ideally the logo should look clean as a 12" x 12" graphic so it looks good on a shirt. I had erased the two cardinals under "Birds" and added a .com of similar type. If someone with better software can tackle that "concept" and if anyone cares to present some other spinoff designs on the RotB logo, please post them in the thread or e-mail to one of us (CG, Andrew or myself).

I found a better site then cafepress. You can customize the products more for about the same price. Here is an example of just a text-only shirt. I used Boogatts idea of "Dont Flock with Us!" but added a "Dont Respect us?" to go in the front. We can always add more to them but this is just how they could come out.

I’m not sure what the network’s (SBNation) take is on it though. CG?
I like the RotB logo or some derivation of it. Even if it does look like Scully from X-Files having a Hitchcock moment.

ROTB Logo is by far the coolest of SBNation
A Cardinal red shirt with the logo full size on the front and the web address on the back would be my vote.

Cafepress.com is pretty straightforward
Through CafePress we could set up a basic shop for free that allows us to upload a single logo. We pick what products the logo would appear on (shirts, hats, bags, cups, thongs [for Matt]) and CafePress handles the rest. A customer orders and the product is printed on demand and shipped out. CafePress takes their “cut” and RotB would get a “royalty” check for the logo at the end of every month. That’s where the legality of using SBNation’s RotB logo comes into question. If we put the royalties into a “prize kitty” to cover the cost of prizes for Pick’em, Fantasy Football, and trivia contests, hopefully the network (SBNation) is cool with it. Or all the money goes to them. ::shrugs:: CG may have the answer in the legalese of the RotB charter, otherwise I’ll ask the Powers That Be.

I have had a crazy couple of months moving and other bs but we are hoping to put something together. I am ashamed to admit it being a former collegiate athelete myself, but I don’t watch college football and am completely lost when it comes to who’s who coming out of college. I would however like to do something to keep us going between the season. I would really like to extend the offer to other ROTB faithfuls to join us and put in your two cents for another addition of “BOTRB”. Anyone interested just let me know.

I was figuring the items would be “ads” for the site when folks are out and about and the “official” logo would be good to tie the items to the site.
We can certainly go “big” and design multiple slogans/logos and have a bigger store on CafePress. I’ll pony up the cash for that.
