All Signs Point to Warner Coming Back
Over at azcentral.com, they analyzed the interview with Kurt Warner on Tuesday. He did express that if he does come back, it will only be with the Cardinals. He also said that management has already told him they want him back to be a part of what the franchise is doing. They also think the contract would be a two year extension, around $18-20 million. As he walked away he winked at the reporters and said, "I'll be back." This sounds interesting and it sounds like we may see #13 next year as well.

Great!
Next season will be my first (full) season following the Cards (and generally american football), so apparently I haven’t seen enough of Kurt Warner. I’m a little worried about Leinart though, but I hope he will get some minutes. After all, he is our future…

i hope he gets traded. yes he is our future, but by the time kurt is ready to give it back to him, he will be about 28 when he gets the reigns back. there were a lot of high caliber QBs that deferred till next years draft. and if they are anything like matt, they won’t go as high as this years projection. that bodes well for a cards team that will probabely draft in the mid to late 20s again next year. just my thoughts.

Gotta wait to see how this actually plays out.
Maybe I’m jaded by the whole Favre dramas from the past few years, but I’d rather wait and see. I know Warner isn’t Favre, buts hard for any player to make a decision like that only days after the season.
When I get sad, I stop being sad and be awesome again.
