Beanie Wells Will Have to Miss Work
Thanks to a stupid NFL rule, after this weekend's mini camp, Wells will miss everything team oriented until the beginning of June, at the earliest, due to the NFL/NCAA agreement that draftees cannot start voluntary work with their team until their school year is over. Ohio St. is on the quarter system and Wells will not be eligible until June 6th at the earliest. He will not be able to work out with the team for at least a month and he'll miss at least some OTA's. It's not devastating news and of course the Cardinals knew about the rule well before he was drafted but for a first round pick, it still sucks.

I’m still really excited about getting this guy at #31. I was getting worried when the colts took Donald Brown. I liked D. Brown more until I saw footage of Chris Wells on Youtube. This kid is a bruiser with serious speed. He has a serious stiff arm! He will be ok with missing some OTA’s as long as he stays focused. Whiz will most likely give Timmy most of the early season carries until he feels Wells is ready.
Plus we still have Boldin! Looks like another great year for the Cards!
+ 1
I agree with everything you just said!

After a Super Bowl run the coaches could have drafted backup long snappers and punters with every pick and I would still be happy, but I remember once upon a time I was stoked with JJ Arrington with the 44th pick of the draft. I hope Chris Wells has much more success than Arrington did in Arizona, but I gotta wait until I see it happening to get too excited.
Fix the typo in the headline
“Alot” isn’t a word – if you want to be taken seriously as a site, you can’t have obvious typos in the headline in the first article on your page.
FYI
The headline above is associated with a ‘Fanpost’, which may be posted by any SB Nation community member and is not an official article by ROTB. Any member, including yourself, is welcome to post any Cardinal related fanpost, so long as that it is not offensive.
Thanks

I try to refrain from gross editing of a promoted fan post...
…unless there’s some complete gaffs on name spelling and the like. Considering most of our comments are not A+ grades on grammar and spelling I’m not worried though I should have tweaked “alot” for a title. Still, if I had to correct every misuse of there/their/they’re I’d have hung myself by now. :P

Good to know, but basically irrelevant
While I understand that, people that come and visit the site for the first time will not, including other professionals that may be checking the site for potential partnerships. If a promoted fanpost has spelling and grammatical errors in it, especially in the title, it will be considered a reflection on your site regardless of whether it’s technically an “official article” or not (which, it could be argued, becomes an “official article” based on the decision to promote it to the front page, but that’s a different issue).
Take the above as a suggestion, not a criticism, from a web development project manager – that’s how I intended it, although I realize I was too blunt initially, I apologize for that. I think you have a great site; my intent was to help make it better, not to be the “grammar and spelling police”.
BTW
Not saying you should do this, but something many don’t know is that in major news organizations, columnists usually don’t write their headlines – the editors do. This is one reason for that, although not the main one.
It's all good
I’ve been accused of being a grammar Nazi in the past and will take this a nudge to practice my high kick marching some more. ;-)

Who would win in a fight, Whisenhunt or a Hurricane?
Hold on, hold on, what if the Hurricanes name was Whisenhunt?

Dunno if anyone heard him this morning,
but Mr. Wonderful, aka Shrutebag, aka Colin Cowherd, was ripping on Wells because of his supposedly poor mannerisms and ettiquete while waiting to hear his name called Saturday(eating and drinking sodas while the camera was on him); not to mention denegrating the size of Wells’ relatives(overweight and sloppy-looking, according to Cowherd). From this, he “brilliantly” deduced that Wells obviously has poor work habits. Putz…
