Tip of the Hat to ROTB
I wanted to take a second and thank you guys for your help on my Cards picks, for stampedeblues mock draft. I spent quite a bit of time on your site looking over your articles.
I chose Donald Brown in the 1st, Wells was already snatched up by Philly and Brown looked like a good fit, if Wells had been there I would have grabbed him. In the second round I chose Cody Brown, which was right on the money. That 2nd pick was all you guys, the first was easy, but, getting the second round right was all you.
You guys definitely know your team.
Thanks again for making me look good.

If it wasn't for Oakland going after DHB
I think the Eagles would have taken Wells. Making your pick right with Wells but Brown still would have been wrong. I didn’t even know the Colts were looking to add a RB in the 1st round.

Their starter SUCKS!
They owe him too much money to cut him, for now. He was always hurt too. I think they needed a RB more than we did.

Maybe it is just the fact that it is early in the morning and I am tired

JI doesnt suck are you kidding
The dude is a stud and his whole rookie year all he did was tear it up. Last year he was banged up but still managed to do OK. he isnt going anywhere.

Is that who he was talking about or is he talking about Brian Wesbrook?
If it is Addai than I agree with you, he is a stud at RB.

Both of them are
I was caught off guard by Indy, though. I figured they would go defense.

Yes, Joseph Addai
And he hasn’t been the same since his rookie year. Just ask a few Colts fans and they will tell you he wasn’t worth it. Yes they won the SB, but he barely beat out their other back that went to the Raiders and now the Bills. He sucks because he doesn’t grind out yards. He falls after 1st contact kinda like JJ used to. He is ggod in the passing game, but sometimes you need to run it to sustain a lead. You know, like the Cards. New HC and he will be on a short leash. Plus he is always injured. Brown is just as versitile and much more durable.

Are you kididng me???
Addai also had a good sophomore year in 2007. Last year was his only bad year as he was injured.

Statistaclly he had a good year.
But he is a system back much like ALL the Broncos backs. With the new HC taking over, he will change the ground game slightly which doesn’t bode well for JA. I hope I’m wrong. I was hoping we drafted him that year. If he doesn’t heal properly this year and starts sucking again, we will see a shift in backs. Their great o-line won’t last forever.

JA was so good the Colts used a first round pick on a RB.
either way I doubt Edge would go there considering he’d be a #3 at the start of the season.

because
he played well until last year when the colts o-line was decimated with injuries. If I’m not mistaken 4 of their starters on the o-line were hurt for most of the year. They still made it to the playoffs thanks to # 18. Look at the jags of last year. their o-line got banged up and they collapsed….MJD’s numbers dived last year too, but no one is questining him. I think addai is a good back… not great, but good.
