Burress released - Boldin to NY?
Plaxico Burress has been released from the NY Football Giants due to his most recent off the field incident when he literally and figuritively shot himself in the foot. NY is going to need a receiver. With speculation Boldin could go to NY before the release of the great on the field bad, off the field receiver is that speculation going to rise?

Uh, uh. I know.
Draft really well again and get back to the Super Bowl with a win this time. By the way. Does anyone remember my predicition that we were ABSOLUTELY going to the Super Bowl after that NFL films production that they always do for eventual contenders. Well I sure do.

I think I'd be okay with that
There’s a lot of situations that involve Boldin getting traded and this one seems like it would be favorable for both parties.
The extra picks would certainly help shore up the rest of the defense, and give the team a better shot at getting depth for the OL.
I wonder if Doucet is ready for that number 3 spot?

So he claims.
That happened to my bestfriend in college. Turns out he was sleaping with another dude’s girl. He got caught by his girl so he wanted to tell the girl’s dude. She was against it and so she shot him in the leg. He told the police he shot himself in the leg by accident with a gun he found and subsequently threw away. He didn’t even get in trouble.

Don't ask me.
It took me 12 years to find out that much. I think he loved her or something.

No, No, No, No, No!
Really, I hear rumors about Boldin to NY and Philly all the time, but does anyone really think this through? Boldin would be a huge upgrade to either team, yes – which is exactly why we WON’T trade him to either team. Why would we make our strongest competition in the conference even stronger when we should be battling both for playoff seeding and potentially facing either in the playoffs? They should have to make an overwhelming offer for us to even consider trading Boldin to them.

+1
Giant and Iggles fans can pine all they want for Q but there’s no way he stays in the Conference in a trade. I still feel Jacksonville is where he ends up from a “logic” standpoint (high draft pick this year, they need a WR, AFC, and in Q’s home state) with Miami next likely. A trade within the Conference has to have benefit ratio of “long term Cardinals >> short term other team” for this to fly.
We all leave footprints in the sands of time, just watch out for the discarded fish hooks!

I wouldn't rule out any NFC team
that cuts the market in half and the point behind making a trade is to get the absolute best value for the player that your trading. If the best offer comes from San Francisco, I’d pull the trigger.
Hell, whoever gets him is going to have to pay him 9 or 10 million a season and he’ll miss three or four games a year and they’ll be saddled with a bad contract in a couple of years.

And his salary will not enable them to stack the rest of the team...
because of being payroll strapped and the salary cap.

2-1st Round Picks and Something else
Thats the least we should get if we decide to trade him. But why trade him, because he’s mad. who cares. he was mad last year and look at the way he played. We own him for 2 more years. We tried paying him more money and it wasn’t enough so now he gets to sit and wait. He can sit out for all i care, that won’t help get him more money. He cam talk all the smack he wants too but it comes down to this; we have all the power and he has nothing but a loud mouthed agent who is probably the reason this isn’t done yet. See you in Glendale in September Q wearing Cardinal Red.

not a chance
there is no chance that we could get 2 first rounders for him even if Jerry Jones was the GM and Al Davis the owner on a team with Lane Kiffin as HC. I think one of 3 scenarios. 1 – Trade him to NY for one of their 12 starting D-Lineman, first round pick, and try and squeeze them for a 6th or 7th (am I being too greedy?). 2 – Play him this year and trade him after. 3 – trade him to Jax Or Miami (out of the division) or an NFC team with a crappy QB.
The point in trading him is to get something out of nothing. Not to trade him because he is upset. I see his wheels falling off in 3 years.
