It sounds like the Chiefs are awfully tired of his act and our fellow blog, Arrowhead Pride, goes as far as saying he might be cut. While that's probably just a drastic overreaction, it does seem pretty clear that the Chiefs are ready to move on and Johnson's on the trading block.
Johnson's had his share of off the the field issues (apparently he shouldn't be around women when he's in a bar) and age and overuse is an issue. He'll turn 30 during the season and he's got over 1,200 carries on his legs (still quite a bit less than the 2,900 carries on Edge), but he did average 4.5 yards per carry last season. His career average is 4.5 and he's only had one season under 4.0. He's also decent out of the backfield although one of his biggest knocks is that he sucks in pass protection.
To get to the matter at hand, Arrowhead Pride suggests that the best deal for LJ might be a 4th round pick. So if we could trade a fourth round pick for LJ, would you do it?
