The odds of Kurt Warner staying healthy for another year, and can Matt fill his shoes?
We all know how well Kurt Warner did last year. His numbers were amazing for the season and we know he's hungry to take the Cards back to the superbowl.
Now realistically the chances of the Kurt staying healthy for another whole season are unlikely. He's getting older, he's not the most mobile and agile QB in the league and could miss some games. We all want Warner to be back and healthy for another run at a potential Superbowl, but what if? Does Matty have the tools? We've seen Matt's party ways, we've heard the stories and seen the photos. But now he's pretty quiet. We haven't heard these stories, he's sat behind Warner for a while now, he's learning from Warner and seems to be maturing behind Warner.
I'm not asking if he can be Warner, but can he step in and fill the void if Warner goes down. And last but not least Is he the Cards starting QB after Warner? I'd like to hear your opinion on this one, it seems like he has a love and hate relationship with the fans. Remember Jake the snake? You loved him or you hated him so here we go whats your relationship with the Cards backup QB?

Not likely that Warner makes it 16 in a row
I hope he does for sure but I’d bet we see Leinart start two or three games, and I think he’ll do just fine. As long as KW is healthy in January, it’ll be all good.
Seriously though, who voted for Tyler Palko?
Wells and Leinart
I think this is what makes the Wells pick interesting. If Wells is the RB the Cards hope, especially with the road graders we have picked up on OL, then Leinart will probably be the future. If Wells doesn’t, then Leinart’s future comes into question.
MBN
It's the Niners fans voting for them to assuage their guilt for needing to read about a winning team in the NFC West...
We all leave footprints in the sands of time, just watch out for the discarded fish hooks!
So….now we’re supposed to play the dual-role of soothsayer/orthopedic surgeon?
Regarding the backup situation – We got to see little of Leinart in action last season, got to see zero of St. Pierre since training camp and nothing of Palko since he became a Cardinal; so – other than examinining their past bodies of work – who knows? (On paper, all three appear to be adequate; with Leinart probably being more than adequate).
That said – there’s an “it” factor about Palko that I saw at Pitt and with the Saints that intrigues me and makes me want to see more of him.
