Donte Stallworth agreed to a plea deal that will sentence him to 30 days in jail, 10 years of probation and 1,000 hours of community service for running over and killing a pedestrian. Tests revealed that Stallworth's blood alcohal content was .126. Prior to the deal he had faced up to 15 years in jail, but he also reached an confidential financial settlement with the vicitm's family.
So a rich guy runs over a no body, pleas down to minimal jail time and forks over some cash to the victims. No harm no foul, right? Wow.
I sincerely hope that the commissioner isn't so lienent with Stallworth. He'll have some big decisions to make in the upcoming months with Stallworth, Vick and Burress.
