The deal is a 4 year deal ,with terms not being disclosed. I imagine he got something in the neighborhood of 1 mil a year.

This makes 7 of 8 draftees signed and that just leaves Beanie Wells as the final draftee to sign.

Tony Davis, an undrafted rookie, was cut to make room for Brown.

Wells

Come on Cards, training camp report date is tomorrow…lets get Wells done!!

by StuckinColorado on Jul 28, 2009 11:25 AM MDT reply actions   0 recs

Technically our camp doesn't start till Friday.

Tomorrow is the date the players and coaches report to camp but the first practice isn’t until Friday. So that gives Graves a little more room on getting this done.

If Wells isn’t signed by Thursday than I would start to worry about this but right now I think Graves will get it done since this is all he has to worry about right now.

How refreshing it would be to have all our picks signed before the the first training camp practice. One more sign we’re heading in the right direction.

It’s gonna get done – I can feel it, Beanie’s missed enough time he wants to get in to camp!

+3 Beanie's gonna be there

I’ll bet we have him signed by Thursday at the latest. The terms should be pretty easy and since he’s at the bottom of the 1st he shouldn’t be looking for some exorbitant amount.

BTW, are we going to have an official ROTB day during one of the practice days? Anybody have plans to meet up there yet?

I'll be there the 8th only

wish I could make a cool banner or something to hang on my canopy.

I can make it the 8th

How wide is the canopy? Maybe we can have something made pretty reasonably.

Just 10x10

Just cause that’s what’s allowed at the stadium. Could hang the thing up during tailgating this spring too, or maybe rotate it between RotB season ticket holders.

Anybody here park in the grass lot F for the games by the way?

I came across a place that will do it for $60

Now we just need to come up with what we want on it. Let’s get Hawk, Andrew, and CG involved.
