JJ isn't a superstar
But he put up 4.4YPC on an offense with a battered o-line (all the starters were on the IR by the end of the year) and no real passing game to keep the defense honest. He probably would have started the whole year, but he had one fumble too many (major no-no in Holmgren’s book) and Holmgren decided to reward his guy (Maurice Morris) in a contract year.

Edge put up worse numbers facing defenses that had to respect the pass
And couldn’t put 8 in the box on every down. He was also benched in favor of a guy who put up 2.8 YPC.
I’m not going to say that Edge won’t produce, but I’m not optimistic.
