Nah, Whiz told the truth,

everyone has a chance. If Leinart shows up playing better than Warner, then he will start him. That is how this works. I love the supposed controversy behind this.

I think everyone still classifies Morey as a WR even though he just a special teamer

There are five WR active on gamedays and Morey takes of one of those spots if he’s on the roster.

do you think Morey gets cut this year?

I think there is a legitimate chance that this could happen. If so it would be sad because of the class he has. If so it would be good to show that the team has matured in all faucets of the game.

I’m thinking he makes it, unless Long shows he can bring what Morey brings on special teams. We need Morey as he was one of the few bright spots on special teams last year that was ranked 28th.

I think we’ve vastly upgraded our special teams department with guys like Keith Lewis and some draft picks, plus Highsmith will be back but I can’t see Whiz cutting Morey. Not only is Morey one of his guys but it also might send a message to other guys that special teams isn’t that important.

The only reason I think they’d cut Morey is if Lance Long has a monster camp and I haven’t heard near as much buzz around his name this year. It’s still early though so we’ll see if he gets more playing time during the preseason.
