Arizona Cardinals vs. Broncos: Boldin, St. Pierre and Doucet Will Not Play
The Arizona Cardinals held their final practice before their preseason finale against the Denver Broncos and as expected they ruled Anquan Boldin, Brian St. Pierre and Early Doucet out of action. Boldin is still hampered by a gimpy hamstring and St. Pierre's back is still giving him problems. Doucet's ribs will likely keep him out for at least a couple of weeks. LaRod Stephens-Howling is doubtful for Thursday's game and is still experiencing from symptoms from his concussion, althouh he has passed the neurological tests in order to return to action. Matt Leinart is still experiencing some shoulder soreness but he is expected to play through the pain, although Tyler Palko is expected to see quite a bit of action.
Ken Whisenhunt still hasn't decided exactly how much his starters will play but they will at least take the field. It's doubtful that Palko will be able to jump St. Pierre on the depth chart but it will be interesting to him in his first action since the preseason opener. With Boldin and Doucet out and Breaston most likely limited, it'll be another chance for Lance Long and Orea Jones to showcase themselves.

Any game without Pierre is a good one
And I hope that Palko can play well enough to take the #3 spot, even if it is unlikely.

More Palko is definitely a good thing, for him, for us, for the coaches, etc.
Hoping to see LSH back at full-speed. I was absolutely crushed when he went down, jumped out of my chair, cursed the refs…
After last week, I think Long is really going to have a heck of a game to have even the remotest chance. He’s a hard guy not to root for, but I really doubt it’s going to happen for him. If he winds up on the practice squad, he better spend the year practicing punt returns.

I am guessing the offensive starters will play
most of the first half after that dismal showing last Friday. I hope tey atleast paly until the offense has a solid drive or two.

Some of the drives have been decent, but the ending is usually flames and fail. I hope they’re not out for the whole first half, but about a quarter. Mostly I agree with you. Warner needs a TD.

1st quarter would be good
hope to see LSH back out there.

guys like Warner, Fitz, Dansby, Dockett, A-dub and some others have nothing to prove by playing a couple of series
and everything to lose if they get injured. I’d be just fine with the starters playing one series a piece (if that) and then sitting on the sidelines.
Be careful....to a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
