ROTB Survival Pick'em: Who's Alive and Week 2

After a pretty successful week 1 in the books, much of ROTB members are still alive. A survival pick'em league is no joke, and as some have already experienced, not every game is a lock. New England and San Diego nearly blew it yesterday, which would have eliminated most of us. Just in case anybody is new to this, here's a quick breakdown. You pick a team each week to win, you only pick one, and you can't pick that team again for the season. If that team loses when you pick them, you are dead. Whoever lasts the longest wins. And if you haven't started yet, you can jump in anytime. Here's more detailed information and here's the members that are still alive and those that are no longer with us.

Who's Alive Who's Dead
Hawkwind, Andrew602, b0rd3rline, hevchv, Irishcardinal, Fitz Jizzle, Carddan, Red Reign, TBru, Desert_Bird_Watcher, TrojanZags, CARDstucknVA, Cuckoo for Coco Puffs, KDean75, kj197728, jallred350, Hibernian, Cardsirish, Thomaldo, AJ BirdWatcher, bcloirao, CHg91, azcardswinez, sc464, Tim V, robloosli, CARDSxFAN32, SenSurround, Travis23, toolman234, Giannaros, manphibian, superpsck, boogatt66 Wongy, azsportsfan31, Bezekira, StuckinColorado, thereallacardsfan, Pyromnc

As the season progresses, the above table will become more detailed, such as how long a certain player has lasted compared to a new players streak. For now, it's pretty simple as it's only week 1. The next table will show the teams that have been picked so far, how many times they were picked, the number of times they "saved" a player, and the number of times they "lost" a player.

Star-divide

# Teams Times
Picked
Players
Saved
Players
Lost
1 Saints 11 11 0
2 Ravens 7 7 0
3 Seahawks 5 5 0
4 Chargers 5 5 0
5 Cardinals 4 0 4
6 Patriots 3 3 0
7 Texans 2 0 2
8 Cowboys 1 1 0
9 Vikings 1 1 0
10 Packers 1 1 0

Here are next weeks slate of games. I'll post links to the previous weeks, that way you can go back to see your past picks if you forgot them. It shouldn't be too difficult to remember who you've already selected, but I'll do my best to check and let anyone know that they've already picked a certain team before kick off. Week 1 Picks.

Raiders

This is a bit iffy, but if they play as inspired as they did against the Chargers, they should dominate the Chiefs.

Can I stay alive if the Raiders some how lose, but Seymour annihilates the o-line? >_>

I guess I'll go with...

Washington.

Hopefully one day I’ll be “alive” to pick a team to win NOT playing against the Rams…

My dream is buried in the second page of a forum...

Oh well, I'll soon get over it... And try to fulfill it by myself...

Oh so you're a lurker? lol

Well I’m sure if you lurk long enough you’ll learn what you need about football and the Cardinals.

the good thing about the game is that the more you learn, the more you realize you don't know anything

Feel free to jump in with both feet.

The others seem too hard.

Life's too short. Be a fan. Orlando Magic, Arizona Cardinals,Tampa Bay Rays and of course "the U"! What a winning combo.

you can also find it in the section titled "weekly pick'em"

That’s relatively close to the top and you can get the survival and pick’em leagues there

WEEK 2 SURVIVOR PICK

This week is a lot harder, i guess I’ll go with the Green Bay Packers

I didn’t want to go with this pick. Too popular, and I was hoping for an upset that would put everyone else out….

But I just don’t see it happening.
