Once more dramatic finishes to the selected games of Week 3 brought about changes in the Pick'em League standings. Those that picked the Niners nearly gained some ground while the "upset" pick of Detroit was a big favourite among most participants. Congratulations to Bezekira, CARDSxFAN32, Hibernian, StuckinColorado, and TBru for going 7-1, a record that helps put Bezekira at the top of the standings.

HOU – knowshon ran all over oakland. it’ll be slaton’s turn this week.
IND – peyton heard me diss him last week to the tune of 4 TDs against us, so i’ll be wise to pick him this week against a hapless seahawks team.
JAX – titans aren’t looking too good this season. chris johnson’s doing the best he can to carry this team, but mojo will be too much to handle.
NE – which patriots team will show up this week? hopefully the good one. game will be closer than you think.
NYJ – two words: darrelle revis. single handedly shut down andre johnson in week 1 and randy moss in week 2.
SF – goreless niners will hopefully pull this one out. they should’ve won against the vikes if it wasn’t for favre’s heroics. look for bulger to choke like usual.
PIT – steelers will look to bounce back, at home, after losing to the bengals.
MIN – adrian peterson will run all over the packers.

If your first seven picks stink, don’t bother picking the MNF game the picks are thrown out. If you’re doing well the first seven, pick the MNF and have it count. Nice. I see KDean picked up on that too. Smart.

TEN- almost picked the jags but I can’t see ten goin 0-4.
BAL- I hope the kill new england, I can’t stand them
NO- they rarely lose at home
STL- don’t ask why because even I’m not sure
PIT- they will bounce back after losing to the bengals
MIN- don’t be suprised if GB wins, favre might try to do to much since it’s his first game back in greenbay and it’s on Monday night. If he just manages the offense like he has so far they will win

I have had a rough week picking games, so since the Monday night game hasn’t started, can I take that pick off the board and therefore I haven’t picked all the games so my picks would be thrown out. If I can, then I am going to take my Monday night pick off the board and have my weeks picks canceled.

HOU – In the battle of inconsistent teams, I’ll take the one that actually has an idea of what they’re doing.
IND – Hasselbeck-less ‘Hawks are no match.
TEN – No way does a Jeff Fisher team start 0-4.
BAL – Take the Jets game, and add an offense that can go toe-to-toe with the Pats on their best day? Yeah, I’ll take the Ravens here.
NO – Should be an awesome game, but Sanchez’s “miracle rookie season” ends here.
SF – Singletary’ll get them back up and going after such a heart breaker of a loss.
SD – Unless Pit brings the fire (blitz), SD’s got this in the bag.
MIN – Rodgers’s protection is non-existent. Unless Favre gets super duper excited and tries to play the hero (again), this is MIN’s game to lose.

Don't know how I missed last week...Must not be gettin me enough RotB lately
HOU-A dose of Oakland at home is just what this team needs
IND-A loss to Seattle would make our week 3 loss that much more devastating
TEN-A close one I believe
BAL-Brady will lose effectiveness after Ravens force them to be completely 1 dimensional
NAWLINS-makes jets d not so stellar
SF-As much as I’m rooting for the rams this week
PIT-shouldn’t lose 3 straight

And as far as waiting until Monday night to see if your Sunday picks are good are not—you should have to make a pick for every game up front, and then if you want to change your pick you can do that. Shouldn’t be allowed to pick whether or not you want to have your picks count after the fact.
I thought I had figured out every loop hole but clearly my Rules Lawyer certification has expired
Making the loop hole obvious to everyone (who read the threads at least) makes it available to everyone else. Besides, it’s only something that can be executed 8 times at most so eventually the strategy will backfire, especially with some upsets each week. The last two weeks are mandatory too. If nothing else, it gives you someone to root against who uses the tactic every week (kinda like a Pick’em Cowboys).
Next season the rule will be changed but until then, use it if you dare.
Minnesota (Home crowd will be insane and make Rodgers’ ability to function difficult which allows for the Vikes’ front seven to feast)
