Should the Arizona Cadinals Sign Monty Beisel??

Our good buddy Todd Haley has released veteran linebacker Monty Beisel making room for Leonard Pope. While I won't argue the merits of such a move for the Chiefs, I will say that I hope the Arizona Cardinals decide that Beisel makes this team better. He's not an impact player and really even a starter but considering our current backups at ILB, Reggie Walker and Ali Highsmith, I'd feel ten times better with Beisel if something were to happen to Karlos Dansby or Gerald Hayes. If the Cardinals decided to sign Beisel, you'd have to expect that Walker would slide through waivers and could find a home on the practice squad.

According to those "in the know" the Cardinals did want to bring Beisel back after last season but the Chiefs snagged him and he competed for a starting job for during camp. If nothing else Beisel would be instantly upgrade the depth at ILB and be another veteran presence in the locker room.

Anyone interested??
