NFL Pro Bowl: Open Game Thread

The NFL Pro Bowl takes place later today and will feature two Arizona Cardinals. Safety Antrel Rolle will appear in his first Pro Bowl while defensive tackle Darnell Dockett will be entering his second.

Usually the game isn't more then a last glimpse of your favorite players before the long offseason ahead. This year it takes place a week before the Super Bowl as an attempt to revitalize the historically uninteresting game. Whether you like the Pro Bowl or not, there's no arguing that it is a football and what else is there to watch today?

Cardinals' wide out Larry Fitzgerald, safety Adrian Wilson, and cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie were set to appear at the game as well, but all pulled out with various reasons. Five Cardinals in the Pro Bowl marks the second straight year that amount has been featured in the game. Had Wilson and DRC appeared, the Cardinals would have featured players in three of the four defensive back spots.

The Pro Bowl takes place at 7:30 p.m. ET, on ESPN at Sun Life Stadium in South Florida.

I'm just watching so I can see how bad it will be.

Still laughing at the guy from the Vikings that got kicked out. He didn’t deserve to be there anyway after getting benched against Carolina.

Lifelong Arizona Cardinals/Chicago Bears fan.

I can't stand band-wagoner fans, stick with your team, throughout the good and the bad.

sound the crickets

Yeah this game isn’t very exciting

What? I didn't break it, I was just testing its durability, and then I placed it in the woods becuase it's made out of wood and I just thought he should be with his family.

Final score: 41-34

Better than I expected, but it did seem like an omen for what Goodell wants the NFL to turn into.

Nice to see Romo throwing a pick too, and Vince Young looked horrible.

Pro Bowl?

The NFC gave up 41 Points? And this was with 2 of the Cards starting DB’s out … just imagine if they had all 3 (Rolle, Wilson, DRC) at once playing . Green Bay all over again.

Still can’t believe Rolle made it as even an alternate.

Still can’t believe the defense gave up 45 points 2 weeks in a row in the PLAYOFFS!!!

Still can’t believe that only once this year they held someone under 17 points that was not named the Rams

Could it be … Should it be …. 3 defensive coordinators in 3 years?

OK I rambled … this is about the Pro Bowl right? LOL

Did this game stop any of the McNabb rumors after how often he was throwing into the dirt?
