Max Hall Named NFL Rookie Of The Week
The NFL announced earlier today that Cardinals Quarterback Max Hall won the voting for Rookie of the Week on NFL.com.
Hall was on the list for winning his first game as a starter against the New Orleans Saints, and even though he did not put up outstanding numbers (he was 17 of 27 for 168 yards with an Interception on his second pass), but he showed the accuracy, leadership, toughness, and (dare I say) the Swagtangibles that the Cardinals saw in him when he was signed as an Undrafted Free Agent following the Draft. He was the 4th string Quarterback at that time, and now he is the starter for his hometown team.
The other nominees after the jump...
- Brandon Graham, DE, Eagles: 2 Tackles, Forced Fumble, Sack.
- Ndamukong Suh, DT, Lions: 3 Tackles, Interception of Sam Bradford.
- Mike Williams, WR, Buccaneers: 7 Catches for 99 yards, Touchdown.
- Alterraun Verner, CB, Titans: 8 Tackles, Interception returned to the Cowboys 1 yard line that led to a Touchdown.
Video of each of the nominees.

Me too
I saw someone use it during the Leinart/Anderson debacle on the azcardinals.com message boards, and I had to bring it here.
Lifelong Arizona Cardinals/Chicago Bears fan [I have always lived in Arizona, dad is from Chicago].
I can't stand fair-weather/bandwagon fans, stick with your team(s), throughout the good and the bad. And don't switch to whichever team wins the Super Bowl each year.
Its killing me
Cause all I can associate it with is the vast DA disaster! Please don’t jinx Max with it.

Hall has the good kind of Swagtangibles

He's a total cult hero now
He’s now free to be among the ranks of Snake Pliskin, Jack Burton, Mad Max (no pun intended), and Buckaroo Bonzai.

I think a "CONGRATULATIONS" is in order...???
We know Max comes here during every bit of free time he has to read the ROTB articles and expert commenting (such as from myself), so we need to show support… Congrats Max, keep it up, we expect Rookie of the Week honors every week now though, so don’t get comfortable…
Congrats to Max Hall
What I love the most is that not only does he get to play for his home team, but he gets to start for them. I don’t think he could ask for a better team to play for, so I’m hoping that’s intangibles for him trying his best.
Those are all good nominations
Verner was probably the closest in my opinion.
Max deserves it though just based on its his first start (none of those other guys had that), it was against the Saints, and I also think the fact he was a FA, it was a good performance, mistakes and all. Congrats MAX!!!
Interesting how the NFL and the media have responded on the NFCWest. First it was all the love for the Whiners. Then the story quickly shifted to how crappy the division is, then the love for Bradford, and now it seems to be shifting to Hall.
Maximus!!!!
