RotB Pick'em 3.0 — Week 7 Results & Week 8 Picks

After last week's apparent return to Pick'em normalcy with the majority of participants picking at or above 0.500, the 3.0 version of Pick'em has returned to form with the majority of picks being at or below 0.500. Thank goodness the Browns/Saints game wasn't on the schedule of picks! In a rare moment of clarity, Hawkwind picked all the games correct except for the Eagles' implosion in Nashville. Even with the seven games and Week Won Point his record only reaches the .500 mark, a microcosm of the 2010 season. As sweet as this 0.500 record feels now for him the same cannot be said about the rudderless Cardinals...remember when a 3-3 record would have had us dancing in the streets? How quickly we became spoiled.

Before I vanish for another week (I need five clones to do all that I want to do in a week):

Denver (Both teams are road teams here and the Niners have been horrid on the road)
Jacksonville (The Barcelona Dragon Bowl: former Dragon QBs Todd Bouman vs. Jon Kitna! Yeah NFLE! Bouman was Sean Morey’s and Bryan Gilmore’s QB in Europe, regale your Cardinals friends at the next trivia contest!)
Miami (It’s a toss up on the best of the worst teams…Cowboys or Bengals?)
NY Jets (I predict a lot of Rogers on his back this game)
Arizona (Best team in the NFC plays the worst according to the coaching staff in TB)
Seattle (I want to pick Oakland as Seattle always had a rough time in the Black Hole going back to the AFC West days)
Pittsburgh (Saints transform to Aints in less than a season!)
Indianapolis (Colts are at home where Texans have yet to win a game…ever.)

Lifelong Arizona Cardinals/Chicago Bears fan [I have always lived in Arizona, dad is from Chicago].

I can't stand fair-weather/bandwagon fans, stick with your team(s), throughout the good and the bad. And don't switch to whichever team wins the Super Bowl each year.
