So week seven of the NFL season has just passed and already we are voting for the probowl. This makes no sense to me. Less than half a season in is too short a time to start this. Does anyone else think so? It's not like they've got people counting the hanging chads by hand here. Anyway, enough rant. Who do you all think should be in the probowl after 6 (or in some cases 7) games?
From the Cardinals the only guys I think qualify are LaRod Stephens-Howling as kick returner and Kerry Rhodes as free safety. LSH is #1 in return yardage right now and it's not just because we got blown out in two games. He has been electric. Rhodes has two fumble returns for TD, a 65 yard interception, has brought pressure on the QB (no sacks yet but knocking Steven Jackson over like he was an 8 year old girl was hilarious) and has been stellar in defending from the deep safety position.
While we're at it how about an anti-probowl too? For NFC head coach of the anti-probowl team I nominate Mike Singletary. Thanks Mike! You've made this season considerably more enjoyable. Good ol' Mikey has some serious competition in Wade Phillips though. There could be a recall on this one. Damn hanging chads.
