RotB Pick'em 3.0 — Week 4 Results & Week 5 Picks

Once upon a time there was an National Football League where Kurt Warner played quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals who threw five yard passes to Anquan Boldin that were stretched to 20+ yards with a few ran over defenders along the way. Once upon a time the average number of correct picks in the RotB Pick'em League was five and no one had a record below .500. Sadly, those realities are history. This is reality we face now: quid pro quo taking the Week Won Point with seven correct picks and six others getting five correct; 26 participants at or below .500. And Derek Anderson. ::sounds of Hawk fumbling with a noose:: At least I get to hear the word "breast" hundreds of times this month!

Arizona Cardinals over New Orleans Saints (One can only hope, since I’ll be at the game!)

Week 5

BAL Got to like Baltimore at home
KC This pick is soiled by emotion. Indy knocked me out of survivor.
GB Green Bay will put up too many points for Washington to overcome.
DET Detroit has held close against better competition than St. Louis.
NO Notched as a likely loss before the season.
DAL Again I’ll be rooting against the team I’m betting on.
SF Without Vick the Eagles go down.
NYJ Randy Moss could screw this whole thing up. Still taking the Jets.

Lifelong Arizona Cardinals/Chicago Bears fan [I have always lived in Arizona, dad is from Chicago].

I can't stand fair-weather/bandwagon fans, stick with your team(s), throughout the good and the bad. And don't switch to whichever team wins the Super Bowl each year.

Baltimore (Home team finding their stride)
Indianapolis (Home team a bit irked I’d imagine seeing the Texans in sole possession of first place)
Green Bay (This one will bite me in the ass, over half my picks have thus far)
Detroit (Lions are due, Rams play poorer on the road)
New Orleans (Even if Kurt was still playing.)
Dallas (Bye rested and needing to make up ground)
San Francisco (No Vick, no McCoy, no chance.)
NY Jets (Favre’s return will be a rough one, even if Moss is there as the Jets know how to handle Moss)
