Not much more can be done to improve our team, strategically that is.
A few things that I feel are huge factors in our season thus far that have not occured and will occur (hopefully).
- We have not been healthy, namely with our wideouts and linebacker
- Our marquee defensive players have not showed play at their full potential, Dockett, Wilson, DRC, Porter, where have they been? Have they impressed you at all this season?
But back to the logistics of the team. We've benched Anderson, its ugly that we had to do it, but it was necessary. I hope that no fan of the Cards rooted for this man to perform poorly, but he has. What other personnel moves can be made though?
The first move can be agreed upon by most...
LOSE BILL DAVIS. Maybe accidentally leave him in Seattle in the next 3 weeks. Have another person from the staff call for us strategically, because so far we have given up 118 points this season, 2nd to the Bills. We have talent on D, but Billy D is not fairing well with the talent.
Secondly. And some of you may call me crazy, LOSE GRIMM. The guy is a halloffamer, a hall of fame player not a hall of fame coach. If you need to argue this, look no further than Gretzky coaching the Coyotes. I once heard somebody say Michael Jordan could never be a coach, why? Because he'd yell at people and ask WHY CAN'T YOU DO THIS? ITS SO EASY!
Short of our guys stepping up and playing like the pro-bowlers they are, other than firing Whiz (god no) there's not much else to be done.
