Aw,
you just beat me. I’ll go ahead and delete my post…
Leads/ties blown by the Diamondbacks bullpen in '10: 41
the only problem with drafting a rookie
Is that we would then have three inexperienced qb’s if we cut anderson and keep hall and skelton. I still have faith in skelton developing in a few years and would rather bring in a capable vet to bridge the gap while fitz is still in his prime and use the picks elsewhere.

brett favre will be available:)
joking, but my god we need to shore up this position. Thank you Whiz for making this so enjoyable for us fans this year. Atleast if you gave Leinart a chance and he failed we wouldn’t have all of this “what if”… Such as, “what if we had a QB that is not prone to taking large risks but an accurate short range passer”? Oh, and maybe game planning a bit would be nice too, tell your best buddy Davis to try it next game…
The problem with that is that we would not have as many big plays as what Anderson has provided
Even though he has played poorly, he has gotten a few nice passes over 25-30 yards so far.
Even though I’m a Leianrt supporter, he would play it safe which would prevent turnovers, but it would also result in less big plays.

I can't stand fair-weather/bandwagon fans, stick with your team(s), throughout the good and the bad. And don't switch to whichever team wins the Super Bowl each year.
I would say these pass 3 games
He played well enough to not be the center of our lost.
Yet poorly enough to not keep it close.
Do remember that the offense amassed all of 0 yards in the 3rd quarter. After that, there was no point in Seattle actually playing defense, and they just prevented it up for the most of the game – and that is when the majority of Anderson’s completions/yardage came.
McNabb was always my fave...
Non-Cardinal football player. Pretty exciting, decent play maker in fits and starts. Always knew there was no chance of him playing in Arizona…still my heart kinda sinks a bit knowing it’s ironclad fact now. Passing up on him makes me bitter at the coach a bit. Well, a lot considering how our QBs are doing. Sigh

Thats It
If we lose next week, we start Skelton or Hall for the rest of the season and let them get some experience. That way we can expect a winning season next year
Wow! Did you read the storey!?!?
That’s insane money for how he is playing this year. 40 Mil guaranteed?!?!?! for a guy the coach pulled out of a close 4th qrtr game !?!?!?! Right before a potential lock out season!?!?!?! Something fishy here boys.

yeah...
it is absolutely stunning. almost as much as when the Panthers signed Delhomme to huge money after his debacle in the playoffs at the hands of our dominating D(man haven’t said that in awhile that feels good)
Again, I don’t want McNabb, and I think his play this year is illustrating my point.
sure, he is an upgrade to what we have now, but his play is falling off and he is a dead end road.
I am just no convinced we’d get enough out of McNabb before he was done to make it a worthwhile investment.

The truth comes out
3.5 mil guaranteed. Redskins can opt out this off season. Put Mcnabb back on the list of potential 2012 qbs.

I think that is the biggest mistake of our season
not getting Bulger.
but then again the Rams likely hung onto to him for longer than they needed to specifically b/c they didn’t want the Cardinals to have him. good chess move by them.

After watching the Monday Night Game
There is no way the Eagles won’t resign Vick now… Scary how good that guy can be.

What about Tyler Thigpen?
He looked good when he came in Sunday. What a 3rd string QB to have …
We are red, we are white, we are Danish Dynamite!
Thomaldo!
you are speaking my language.
I have been clamoring for Troy Smith and Tyler Thigpen for a couple years now. you see what they can do when given the chance.
I said in a Sando thread before his first start btw that I thought Troy would save the 49ers season
Thigpen is a gamer and an athlete
another is Josh Johnson from Tampa

Thigpen was good with the Chiefs in 08
I’d be okay with him.

most def!
to me, what Thigpen did in KC that year will forever be one of the most deserving, least heralded efforts I have ever witnessed.
Thigpen was #3 to start the year. played at Coastal Carolina. CC had never had a football program before Thigpen’s first year there. CC is a small-time f-ball school to boot.
KC’s #1 and #2 go down with injury, in strolls a very green Thigpen, and he threw and ran very well week after week. Although the Win column wasn’t much (won 2 games I think?) he played on a really bad Chiefs team yet had them in most games to the very end. I think there were some OT losses mixed in there.
to me, everything about his play screamed moxy. but he has a decent arm and is quick with his feet out of the pocket.
just for trivia, Mike Toler played at Coastal Carolina also

all this means is they wanted to lock him up so they can get a pick(s) for him...
as drullin indicates, roughly 3.5M is guaranteed, so I think he’s still in play, but it will cost a pick(s) for him…
