Ask Niners Nation....

Somehow the NFL has stumbled upon what could be the greatest ratings killer of them all when our two teams square off next week on Monday Night Football. If I'm ESPN I'd be promoting this game like a train wreck - get people tuning in just out of morbid curiosity.

The way I look at it, this game is either a battle for draft positioning or it qualifies as a sort of NFC West elimination game. In reality if the Seahawks lose to the Chiefs (certainly possible), even the loser could remain a mere two games back of first place. The NFC West truly is abysmal.

I'd imagine most of us will try and forget about our teams over Thanksgiving and be thankful for something else entirely. I have to imagine Minnesota Vikings have something new for which to be thankful! But if you're around and have questions about the train wreck that is the 2010 San Francisco 49ers, fire away. I'll link to this over at NN so some of our readers can help answer questions.
